We have used Mayflower for years and it never disappoints. The staff are wonderful and the food is gorgeous!! Definitely recommended!
Reply: The problem is that the telephone number on Uber Eats calls through to your restaurant. We tapped the phone icon in the Uber Eats app and it rings through to you. Which aligns with your comment of others having the same issue. Uber have not offered a refund. Was able to order from this restaurant on uber eats and charged for the meal when we were literally in another country. The restaurant claim that they are not on uber yet uber are selling their food and allowing orders from customers many hours drive away. Would change review if we receive refund but alas this has not happened.
Order food for collection service from the girl was great Got my food home and was missing the chips I rang to tell them once again girl was great the owner on the other hand was very rude telling me to come get them but I had to stay at home. The lady who took the order was lovely and said don't worry i get it sent out to you the delivery chap as brilliant but food was cold by the time the chips got here food wasn't great won't be using this place again but thank you to the lady with black hair and the delivery guy
We ordered delivery last evening and the whole experience prompted us to review. The lady on the phone was so lovely and understanding. She didn’t at all seem like the job was a chore. Bubbly, bright and easy to talk with. The delivery arrived in about 25mins, the quote was “within the hour” so we were pleased. As for food, quality, quantity, everything absolutely great. My new go to Chinese food place in Barry.

Having read reviews and word of mouth recommendations we thought we'd give mayflower a try as our usual was closed. Staff friendly and polite. Food offensively salty. Couldn't eat it all as was just too salty. Had singapore noodles, ribs, crispy chilli beef, rice and curry sauce. Hoping it was a one off and will give another try. Ribs were very nice though
Foods always good, but the Delivery was shocking, rather than knocking my door the person called me as they said the street was busy.. it wasn't, and then they left my food on the door step for someone to just take as they walk by especially if I was slow to the door.
I always get my food delivered, the delivery is fast, the food is always hot, food is cooked well and tastes amazing. Staff are friendly when phoning, delivery drivers are always happy and nice to talk to. I use this as my regular Chinese, highly recommended
Proper cheeky little Chinese, chicken balls were lush but I didn’t like the crispy beef. also didn’t help when Jude Bellingham ran into the store with a mullet and proceeded to rail my 12 year old niece into the poor quality table and chairs bought by the owner. Won’t be buying again if that weird guy called “Hstikkytokky” or whatever asks my 7 year old brother to “Hold his wood” and call him a sort
I'm not sure why this place has such great reviews. The food was average to below, extremely salty this evening and nobody could finish their plate. I ordered the Thai Green Curry and was confused and disappointed, mainly because this was not close to tasting or looking as it should, the joy of this dish is that it has a heat to it with a background of aromatic flavours such as lemon grass / corriander with the sweetness of coconut milk unfortunately I was met spice, no flavor and a texture of glue. I'm assuming a thickener was added when this dish calls for a watery texture. Unfortunately a waste of my money and I now I've to cook dinner (which I was avoiding) as nobody wants to eat it. In the bin it goes! I've given 2 stars for speedy cooking and I now have spare containers for the left over from the dinner I'll be cooking tonight.
