Have been going to Wongs for a few years now. It is our go to Chinese. Never had a bad meal, service always lovely and friendly. Food always hot, tasty and fresh, and delivered on time or ready when we arrive. I would go as far as saying this is one of, if not the best Chinese takeaway away in Barry.
Best Chinese I’ve had in a while! Put down for the Szechuan Chicken to be a bit spicier, it absolutely delivered! So many beautiful chilli’s in there! Absolutely delicious The spring rolls went in the first 30 seconds they were so nice! Will be back!
Wong’s in Barry is hands down one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had. The food is always fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour – every dish tastes like it’s been cooked with real care. The portions are generous, and you can tell the ingredients are good quality. On top of that, the service makes it even better. Issac is always so friendly and welcoming – he goes out of his way to make sure everything’s spot on and really looks after his customers. It’s rare to find such great food paired with such genuinely nice service. If you’re in Barry and fancy Chinese, I couldn’t recommend Wong’s enough.
It is our first time to try this restaurant for take away today. The staff is really really nice and friendly. We ordered three dishes and the price is incredibly reasonable. When we are back to home and taste it, I will say it is very fantastic and very delicious. It is very outstanding in terms of quality and taste, and I can say the taste is very traditional which is already very hard to find similar high quality dishes like these even in Hong Kong and China right now. I would highly recommend it to everyone and look forward to try other dishes again this week.
Friendly service. Good food but the noodles are chopped up into little pieces. Why do that? Noodles are supposed to be long!
I have been working in the area the last 4-5 weeks and tried various Chinese takeaways and this is by far the best in Barry and surrounding areas.
After having a terrible experience at Mayflower I choose this as an alternative and I was not disappointed!! Fantastic food, boiling hot, fresh and the staff had brilliant customer service skills 5* I'll be using regularly
I dont write this very often but i have to say honestly this is best chinese i had in last time.If you find this restaurant you wont be regret.The porcion was like for two people really tasty and delivery was also quick and friendly. 10stars cant give as 5 is max but its worth:-)
