   There was this woman working there with red hair and she was really rude when we asked for a smaller size she said I'm not going back in there to get a smaller size and she was speaking in a rude tone

   Went in to try some school shoes on for my daughter we had seen online Staff firstly said they would let us try them on unless we had her feet measured which there was a list for and got very snooty and rude when I tryed to explain I didn't want her feet measuring as we already know her size just want to try them on before buying 3 staff members to measure one kids feet no wonder you were so far behind So in future will avoid

   Great service from staff member Abigail, if it hadn't have been for her patience and knowledge I would of left immediately after my 15 month old screamed the shop down whilst having her feet measured for the first time. Abigail reassured me and my daughter giving us plenty of time to relax and allow my daughter to calm down. We didn't feel rushed at all and we left with her first pair of shoes. Thank you!

   3 times now they’ve measured my son’s feet wrong! The place is run and managed by mostly young, and seemingly inexperienced staff since becoming a franchise and it’s suffered for it. On two separate occasions now we’ve had 3 incorrect measurements, on the second occasion a staff member measured, then the supposed manager came along to check, and also did it incorrectly. They put my 4 years old son as an 11, when he was in fact a 10/10.5. We then went to another Clarks, and received a far more satisfactory service. Much, much, more training needed here.

   We have used the Skipton store for years and always had good service. Always great at finding things to fit my difficult to fit kids. I finally had a problem which they rectified thoroughly. Lovely staff!

   so firstly the vending machine was broken, secondly they measured my feet as a size 5, im a 21 year old male this is wrong im a size 44, a woman in a wheel chair stole my camo jacket (she can hide but she cant run) and i stubbed my toe on the way out, 2/10 worst tug of my life?+ ratio

   Booked an appointment (due to Covid 19 restrictions) for my daughter’s feet to be measured and to get new school shoes. I actually preferred having to book an appointment and there not being loads of people waiting to have their children’s feet measured and trying on loads of shoes, which used to be the case at the end of the summer holidays. Only downside is there never seems to be the shoes my daughter wants in the right size - but there’s usually plenty of other choices for her to pick from.

   Poor choice for babies, we went for his first shoes and were disappointed by the choice and service. It is a small shop so can understand the lack of choice. We felt pushed into buying shoes we didn't want, they tried squashing my baby's foot into shoes that were too small told they were the only option unless we ordered some in. We realised they happened to be the most expensive so we left. Went to the Bradford store straight after and had a much better experience, more choice and no pushy sales tactics. They also measured him a half size bigger there so really glad we didn't buy the ones pushed onto us at Skipton!
