   A wonderful family-owned restaurant with welcoming staff. They were able to get us a table even though the place was packed and we didn't have a reservation. They had a set menu which was very affordable. The food was presented beautifully, as were the drinks. The service was a little slow but we didn't mind, it left us a lot of time to converse. A member of the staff escorted each guest to the door upon their departure, which was very nice. The restaurant is dog-friendly. I definitely recommend this place!

   Such a cute place and amazing dishes. To start with we had scallops and asparagus , then we went with their seafood pasta, tuna, sea-bass and lamb. To close it off, the orange and chocolate cheesecake + the rhubarb creme brûlée were stunning. Staff were super nice and friendly. I’d come back many times if possible, specially around Christmas time.

   Absolutely beautiful suday lunch. We were at butlins and saw the reviews, so I booked a few weeks in advance for a group of 4 ladies for a birthday meal. We were not disappointed, the best meal I've had out for a very long time. Thank you for making my birthday special.

   We were staying nearby for a few days and booked a table for dinner on the basis of the good reviews. I'm glad to say that our experience was similar to many others. It was excellent and we ended up going back the following day to try more of the menu! The food was extremely tasty, carefully prepared and service was friendly, helpful and professional. The atmosphere was quite cosy and intimate, yet relaxed. Good for couples, families and small groups. And it's dog friendly. Definitely a place to go and relax and enjoy your meal. A good selection of sensibly priced wines and what looked like a very nice courtyard garden (although we didn't explore it) all added to the experience. Certainly one of the best restaurants in the area.

   Absolutely superb dining experience. Thank you to Donna, Clare et al, for making my 50th birthday so very special. Scallops to start, the Lamb for my main and a treacle tartlette for dessert with an additional birthday surprise. They accommodated my daughter's special requirements and indulged me one of mine. This is something I'll not forget in a hurry, if ever. The staff go above and beyond with the bonus addition of three gorgeous spaniels who were super well-behaved. Highly recommended gold star!

   This was a fantastic experience the food was outstanding and the welcome and service was second to none I booked it for my wife Lisa's 50th birthday. Clare welcomed us by name and had dressed our table with rose petals. It was all very special Would recommend it without hesitation

   The food was very good and the staff friendly...however we did feel a little rushed. As soon as we had finished one course the plates were took away as soon as you put your knife down...and within a minute or so the next course arrived....at the end of the meal we didn't feel comfortable ordering another drink and sitting with it... I know they were very busy and booked for days ahead so probably would get someone else at our table after us. Maybe we would go back but at a quieter time.
