   My wife and I needed new slippers. We parked in Sainsbury's car park, adjacent to Homebase. It was just after 0900 when we entered Shoe Zone. There were no other customers in sight. The staff appeared to be attending to their early morning duties. We have never seen so many types of footwear in one place. It is the largest footwear emporium we have been in. The variety of merchandise was very extensive. It appeared to cater for the very young to the mature elders. We browsed up and down the spacious aisles taking in the divers types of footwear. Eventually, we made our way to the slipper section. Wow! Where do we start, we said in tandem. Shoes off and slippers on. An hour later we had made our selection. Two pairs for me and two pairs for my wife, Christine. The staff did not pester us and when we got to the checkout counter the staff were so polite and helpful. Well worth a visit and the prices will not empty your pocket.

   Very large selection of shoes etc ,easy to and try on all selections but sadly the days have gone when staff used to ask / help if sizes and selection we're ok for the customer's.

   Selection of stock good and staff very polite and helpful but…… the store is deathly quiet!! No atmosphere/background noise. It’s very unwelcoming :(

   Went to pay for shoes this morning and both assistants went out....so put them back and came out.... obviously they don't want to sell anything????

   On more than one occasion Ive left this shop empty handed due to limited range of men shoes. What is available is very plain and drab. Would love for a more european range
