   I’ve just had one of the worst experiences ever at Sports Direct. I’ve been waiting for over half an hour for someone to attend to me, and despite asking three different employees for help, all I got was “please wait” and then nothing. No one bothered to follow up or even acknowledge the delay. It’s unbelievable how little the staff seem to care about customers. I wasn’t asking for anything complicated, just basic assistance, and even that seems too much for them. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic courtesy is shocking. I’ve completely lost patience and respect for this store. If you value your time and want decent customer service, avoid this place at all costs. Absolutely disgraceful.

   I visited JD Sports on Sunday, November 26th, and unfortunately, the male staff member I spoke with was quite unhelpful and unfriendly. This is not the first time I’ve experienced such behavior at this store, which is disappointing.

   I visited JD Coventry on 15/10/25 and purchased a pair of shoes and a cap. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very bad. The store does have a good collection at reasonable prices, but the behaviour of the staff was unacceptable. One of the male staff members was extremely rude and displayed a very unprofessional attitude. Instead of offering support, his manner made the shopping experience unpleasant and frustrating. Good products alone are not enough if customer service is this poor. The unprofessional behaviour I experienced completely overshadowed the positives of the store.

   My lady friend and I went to purchase a pair of shoes that we liked, but before buying, we wanted to try them on to ensure they fit well. We requested the other pair of the shoes, but the lady staff member, who was moving very slowly and speaking disrespectfully, took a long time to respond. When she finally arrived, she informed us that she didn't have the other pair, which was shocking. We kindly asked her to check again, as it might be hidden somewhere, but she flatly refused without even making an effort to look. Her attitude towards customers was quite egotistical. I will never return to this store again. Eventually, we purchased the shoes online through Nike. This store has the worst customer service experience I've encountered in all of the UK. If things don’t change, JD might need to consider closing down in a few years due to their poor staff.

   Great shop, open late (in comparison to footlocker). They currently have some great deals on. Don't forget your student ID for a discount, which should be available through student beans/Totum.

   I normally click and collect, service is fast and staff are polite. They have good bargains, but you need to be quick as they sell fast. Brought some timberlands for less than £100.00 as well as some Nike 110, quite happy with this.
