Visited the store to collect a pair of shoes I ordered online. I was welcomed by a really friendly member of staff who took the time to show me the shoes and explain the details. The store itself was tidy and well organised, which made the whole visit easy and pleasant. Great service.
On Friday I had a brilliant gait assessment performed by Brandon in the Leicester store. Brandon is so knowledgeable, and he showed so much care in helping me to find the correct running trainer for my foot issues. I was able to try several pairs and sizes, and test them on the running machine. This has been the first time I have walked away with confidence that I had chosen the correct shoe. It was certainly the most to thorough gait analysis that I have ever had; I have had several gait assessments at different stores in the past. My shoes had to be ordered, but Brandon ordered them at around 5pm that day. I was amazed that they arrived at my home at 10am the next morning. Overall an excellent experience.Thank you Brandon, and Runners Need.

Myself and my partner came to the Leicester branch for gait analysis and to buy shoes. We were helpfully advised on whether we needed shoes with support based on our running on the treadmill. The salesperson was lovely however we found that he was more interested in chatting and getting to know us rather than talking about the shoes. We came away from the shop without understanding why the recommendations were made. I think that the salesperson didn't know much at all about trail shoes to be honest, as when we asked about different shoes the pros and cons were not discussed at all, which is what we wanted. At least the returns process was no hassle at all, which is why I have given 3 stars.
I booked a gait analysis this morning which was completed by Sam. Sam had a great knowledge of which shoes would suit my running form and was able to advise me on the correct sizing. The customer service was excellent and what I thought would be a tedious experience was a great one! I have just used the voucher given in-store to order my size of trainer online. Super easy & I would highly recommend!
The gentleman at the store was nice and helpful. I just wish there were more options available, especially vegan shoes.
the sales assistant was great, he did my gait analysis, let me try on a lot of different brands, until I found the shoe that fits perfect my feet, he was never pushy also he did not try and push me into a certain brand, he let me try on all the brands, until I settled for the Brooks Ghost 15, so happy with the service, I would highly recommend the Leicester Runners need store, they will make sure you walk out with the correct store, I will def be back for my next pair of running shoes!
I went here for a gait analysis as was struggling with metatarsal pain. Brandon helped me and I was really happy with the service, he is very knowledgeable and explained things really clearly but above all he suggested focusing on changing my running technique first rather than trying to get me to buy new trainers (I had only purchased new running trainers from elsewhere a few weeks before). I have followed his advice and it has worked! I will definitely come here when I do need new trainers.
I went in to find my first pair of proper running shoes. I was served by Aaron in the Leicester store. He took me through the gait analysis and was otherwise patient, helpful and knowledgable. I've been very happy with the shoes I came away with and the excellent service I recieved.
Literally cannot recommend enough. A blonde lady (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name) served me and assured me with my first Gait Analysis. She was extremely knowledgeable and efficient of the products and found me the perfect running trainers. I can’t believe how comfortable and supportive they are in comparison to my previous ones. Whole experience was really great. Will certainly return and recommend to friends.
