   I had the most unpleasant experience at b&q Leicester. I went in looking for to purchase some plumbing items but was not sure exactly what exactly I needed. Having asked for a member of staff twice and wait of 20 mins I had a very rude member of staff who came and just was not interested in what I needed, although I know all the things I needed were there he ignored all the photos I showed him of what I needed and suggested I go to a plumbing store. I thought b&q pride themselves on their customer service. I will never go again. Sunil

   Fenerally a standard store, comparable to others in the chain. However, the section with small fixings (screws, bolts, nuts) requires more consistent stock organization. Many items are mixed within the boxes, making it difficult to find the correct size or type quickly. A similar lack of order can be seen in the small electrical components and cabling section – the smaller the item, the greater the disarray.Other departments are well maintained, staff are available, and the store performs its basic function effectively. Still, improving the organization of the small components would significantly enhance the overall customer experience.

   I visited the Devonshire Road store twice on 2 consecutive days and both days I happen to ask for help from HARRY PATEL, who was more than accommodating and went out of his way to help. He has a very positive attitude and served me with a smile even though I had a lot of questions about changing my kitchen tap which had an old fitting. Although, B&Q doesn't sell the same fittings anymore, Harry found me an alternative and saved me time and money. This is the first time I had such a positive experience in the B&Q store.

   Andy from the kitchen department was super helpful! Their kitchens are affordable and great quality. It's unfortunate that they didn't have the colour I wanted otherwise I would have brought my kitchen from B&Q for sure!

   A wide selection of products from standard DIY to lighting, wallpaper, and garden. This place is more than likely going to have what you need. If you're looking to have some wood cut however, be aware that they only have one saw. This means that if there are people getting many cuts you may have a wait of over an hour. Plan your trip accordingly.

   Popped in to find some lvt flooring that was old stock on clearance. A guy called Paul helped us find the product and was very helpful and understanding. Nice to find some real good staff. Give that man a pay rise for being so helpful and polite.
