Elderly customer left out of pocket — would not use again based on our experience My 86-year-old mother had a leaking boiler. Go Assist arranged a same-day visit (which we appreciated), but the engineer stayed about 10 minutes, diagnosed a part replacement, then left. The next day we received another quote for £108, on top of the £131 call-out fee and £13 plan charge. We cancelled (another £50 fee) and used an independent engineer, who fixed it in 30 minutes — no parts needed, just a simple exit-pipe push-fit reconnection resolved the issue.

Do not use this company, they are a disgrace. They've been to our house several times and fitted parts to our fridge costing £660.00 The fridge still has the same problem. Hopefully they will do the right thing and refund my money.

Absolutely fuming. Took out a repair in 2022, changed my mind and cancelled, full refund issued and now I find they have been taking money out of my account for 3 years totalling £189.97, they are saying I didn't cancel membership, I have never used it and thought this was my breakdown cover previously. They are refusing to refund my money. Do not have any dealing with this company. And they are not worthy of 1 star but you can't rate a 0

Absolute robbery! £99 for them to come and diagnose a fault which I told them was the issue before they come, to then tell me it’s a further charge of £135 for parts, website states no hidden costs or fee’s, also enrolled me into a direct debit agreement for warranty which I did NOT agree to and I’ve cancelled it and got charged a further £50 for cancelling. I was told for £99 it would be repaired same day but they want more money, total would be £234 and a brand new tumble dryer costs £250 anyway! Absolute robbery stay away do not use them! Seems other reviews are similar to mine also! The part they stated costing £135 was actually £58 online which I bought myself and plugged it back in as a replacement control module and it was sorted. Never ever again

£130 terms and conditions confusing. Automotic enrollment to an unwanted membership. Asked for further £155 for a part to fix the washing machine. Do not recommend. Engineer attending was okay. However he determined the same fault as I stated in the phone conversation with the customer service. It stated no hidden fees in the advert and that they evaluate the price based on the fault with the appliance. Based on this you would expect them to include the price of the part. As said, misleading advertising.
