Every town needs a coffee shop staffed by millenials with niche video game tattoos. I'm not a data scientist but there must be a link between niche tattoos and good coffee? Service was fab drinks were lovely and food looked really nice!

Wow what a lovely welcoming place. I'm lactose intolerant and this is the first cafe that I could have the majority of items on the menu and not just choice of 1 or 2 items. I'm sad that this cafe isn't nearer to home. But if I'm ever passing through near Saltaire. I will definitely work round making a stop off at The Quaffery

Been struggling to find a half decent coffee in Bradford as I’m originally from Scotland , where we’re swamped with coffee shops, but came across this place, nice little vibe in the place, was quite busy which is always good to see for small businesses, staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. My usual coffee order in the morning is a double espresso and a long black, which they got spot on. Keep up the great work guys!

In my opinion, this is the best coffee shop in Saltaire by far. The staff are always really friendly and welcoming, the coffee is delicious, and the toast and cinnamon buns are always delicious! I’m quite perplexed at some of the other poor reviews, especially concerning the staff not being friendly; in my experience these are the most friendly staff in any coffee shop in Saltaire by far, in other coffee shops, they can barely crack a smile, the coffee is cold, overpriced, and the environment is not comfortable at all. I’m also confused as to complaints about space to accommodate prams as anyone can see if a pram was brought to a table, there would be no room for people to safely walk around so clearly a health and safety issue. Keep doing what you’re doing Quaffery, you’re awesome!

This was a great experience. We came here for breakfast on a Sunday. Firstly, it was reasonably priced. The breakfast options also looked great, and the breakfast waffles were absolutely delicious. The cappuccino was also decent. The food arrived quickly too. The chair fabric could probably do with an update as they were a bit worn, but the general atmosphere was good and I’d recommend this place to anyone.

I'd definitely come back. Tasty drinks, trendy decor and no loud music so we could have a proper chat. Outdoor seats available. Very friendly staff, a proper Yorkshire coffee place and so much more.

My fiancΓ© and I love this place! A little gem in Saltaire and we are very lucky to have it on our doorstep! The food is lovely and beautifully presented. There is a great selection of drinks available too. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets are catered for here. We love it as a coffee shop during the day, but we also HIGHLY recommend visiting on a Friday or Saturday night when it is open until 9pm as a lovely cafe bar - serving various alcoholic drinks ( including the most delicious cocktails!) The Bottomless Quaff ( a bit like a bottomless brunch but in the evening!) can be pre-booked and is an 100% amazing selection of tapas bites and great value for money bottomless drinks……..The decor in here is fabulous and it always feels like we are in some lovely bar abroad- eating our tapas and drinking our cocktails! The owners and indeed the whole team are super friendly and genuinely interested in chatting about your day/evening. Children are made to feel welcome in here and the look on their faces when the milk shakes or waffles come out is priceless. There is a high chair available for little β€˜uns and all you have to do is leave your pram/buggy folded up inside the door which is 100% sensible and no big issue. So in a nutshell ……if you are passing through Saltaire you simply must visit The Quaffery!

Great little place. We were only calling in for a drink, but ended up having a dessert too, and I have to say it was the best waffle (banoffee biscoff) I've ever had, and I don't say that lightly as I've had a lot of waffles! The staff were really nice too, the owner made an effort to go round the tables and talk to everyone to ask how their day was and to make them feel welcome. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!

It was my first visit, received a very warm welcome from the owner who helped seat us and explained the menu options. Great atmosphere, attentive staff loved the lemon drizzle, will be back soon to try other flavours! Hidden gem :-)

Good Coffee(Had given a 4 star previously as I didnt have anything much besides coffee and toast as we were in a rush and planned to revisit later but seems like it might affect the small business from the response to the review initially so changing it to 5-the coffee was definitely good and so was the ambience)
