What a good experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was amazing. Got a festive sandwich and can genuinely say it's the best Christmas sandwich I've ever had. The coffee was great and loved the venue.
For a coffee place it should go without saying that the coffee here is excellent (and it is!), but the brunch/breakfast options here are what make this the kind of place I wish we had round the corner - had probably the nicest almond croissant I've ever had here, and that was essentially a starter for this banging brisket eggs benedict. Sometimes an eggs benedict can be disappointingly dull, but they nailed the hollandaise and every element was spot on. Looking for an excuse to find myself in Halifax again!
Lovely cafe selling delicious food, with a very good variety on the menu. This was our second visit. The meat breakfast was wonderful! A huge portion which kept us full all day. Food is cooked to order and was piping hot, which I really like, I hate lukewarm food and cold plates!!! Staff are so pleasant and welcoming. They also sell a wide range of lovely products. Highly recommend!
The cafe had a nice selection of cakes, including vegan ones. I had the cinnamon roll, which was heated up, and was delicious. I had a flat white with oat milk. Not a lot of places can do a good flat white, but Temperance’s flat what was spot on. Staff were friendly and efficient. If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely visit the cafe again.
Friendly staff, great food and coffee, lots of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Seating upstairs and outside in the arcade. Also sell North Star coffee and loose leaf tea. Excellent vegetarian breakfast. Lovely light coming in through the tall windows. We didn't get chance to try the cakes or pastries but they looked good too.
Spot on vegetarian breakfast place. Quirky decoration, bright and clean. Friendly staff who greeted us as we walked in. Nice choice on menu, we went for Avocado on Sourdough and Butter Beans on toast, both really tasty and huge portions that kept us going all day. Recommended.
By far one of my favourite coffee places in Halifax. There's a wide selection of drinks to choose from, all made expertly well. I typically opt for the Dirty Chai since I prefer something a little sweet. The food is always amazing too!
We have visited this cafe several times. We always enjoyed the excellent vegan wraps and the choice of food was lovely. On this occasion the menu had changed. There was only breakfast type foods and toasties. We have recommended this cafe so many times and, on this occasion, we took friends with us. What a massive disappointment. We left and ate elsewhere. I'm not sure why it has changed so much. Perhaps it has changed hands but, unless we wanted a vegan breakfast, I can't see us going back. What a shame.
amazing food & coffee, ambience was great, lots of tables to sit at and service was super fast. nice selection of vegetarian and vegan food and nice big portions, we will definitely come again :)
