Great service , it was the chefs day off so the boss and barmaid made us welcome and made us really good toasties .
Went for Sunday roast dinner. It was fabulous, served on large plates, choice of meats, great value. Beautiful tasty food, good size portions. Fantastic friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Went for Sunday Lunch, 2nd time of going here. The Sunday Lunch is excellent. My go to place when in the area. As we arrived at 3pm there was nowhere to sit for lunch at the time we arrived, served until 5PM, as the tables/seats were taken up with customers wanting to play Bonkers Bingo played at 4pm. The bar staff were accomodating and moved a table into the pool room which wasn't busy and quieter. The meals were very good value and the food served was on large plates and was really tasty. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone. The bar staff, chef and customers are all friendly. What a pleasure it was to visit and I will be returning on a regular basis.
Was in the area - not been in for 50 odd years. Loved it for a change of atmosphere. Karaoke was on and everyone was having a great time - even the young people. And the beer was good.
Very nicely done out pub, with lovely staff..
Only been once partway through the refurb. Looking forward to seeing the next stages. Horncastle Lager was really good.
