The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The bar has a beautiful beer garden and great food as well as live sports and great weekend events. It is also a very warm and nice place if you have a family. I am not a local yet I still feel welcomed. Would definitely recommend to anyone who fancies either food, sport or just a nice drink and a friendly environment.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Keith at The Cross Keys Pub for the beautiful catering provided for my husbandβs wake. The spread and food were beautiful with guests commenting on how delicious it was. From our very first meeting through to the day itself, nothing was too much trouble β the service was outstanding, and you went above and beyond in every way. Such a lovely, genuine person who gave us a warm and comforting welcome during a difficult time. Thank you for everything.

Got there and even though I'd booked the week before and called again to amend the numbers there wasn't any record of me booking, not good at all. Really mixed views on our food, there were 9 of us including 1 child, the child's food was absolutely gorgeous, he got chicken strips & chips, plus chocolate cake and ice cream, all for Β£8.95. although we had to ask for his dessert, couldn't fault it. One of us had the roast of the day, which was beef, plenty of meat, lovely gravy, lots of fresh veg although the cauliflower was virtually raw, and a Yorkshire pudding, no complaints, one had the creamy chicken in white sauce with fresh veg, absolutely beautiful. 2 had burgers, chips and veg, no real complaints, one had gammon chips onion rings, which was ok, 2 of us had hunters chicken, the chips were ok, the onion rings were ok, but not the best I've had, but the chicken was so dry, a piece of bacon on top under a melted cheese slice, not a drop of sauce at all, it was a real disappointment, I've been quite a few times before but always at lunchtime, don't think I'd go on a evening again. I didn't take any photos, but I should have.

The starters were really lovely and we enjoyed looking forward to our mains .when they arrived my husbands lasagne look and tasted really nice .I ordered hunter's chicken. Looked well presented but I must admit I thought there wasn't enough bbq sauce on .mushroom was cold .but to my horror after taking a mouthfull of chicken. It had a funny taste lifted the bacon and the chicken was raw .Full of apologies and replaced without charge for something different although I ended up eating by myself as my husband had finished is by the time mine reappeared. The pub could do with a bit of a face-lift but it was clean

A friendly welcome. Has a nice large beer garden to sit out in this hot weather and enjoy a cold drink.

Friendly atmosphere. Great service. Excellent recommendations for drinks options. I was the designated driver and asked for something that wasn't fizzy or a J2O. I trued the Erdinger? I'm not sure about the spelling of that, however, it wasn't that bad. There's a pool table, ample parking, an outdoor play area, a large screen TV and comfortable seating. We had a great time there watching the Tyson Fury fight.

It was a bit quite in the pub, but it was a week night so it's expected. The pub is under new management and it looks like they don't serve food yet, but they said they are getting a chief in as soon as possible. Pub was clean and tidy. The beer was good, but a bit pricey. Had plenty of TV screens to watch the sports. Surprised they didn't have any bar games. No pool table or dart board.
