Held my Mum in Laws funeral wake here in July. They did a lovely job from beginning to end. The staff were really accommodating, the food was excellent and the beer was top notch. Thank you to all concerned!
Went for a funeral wake, very busy, but people were getting served quite quickly, and with pleasant conversation. Food was provided, place was spotless without being clinical.. definitely a nice little place. I can't comment on anything else..but otherwise a really nice place.

This pub is a cave full of trolls! The farming community frequent this pub, and they act like they own it. They oppress the rest of the clientele. They were absolutely furious that we played music on the jukebox, even though that is our right to do so. We were harassed and intimidated, and we nearly got into a fight. Clearly, the regular clientele have no class and they should be ashamed. Even though they do nice pints, you shouldn't come here unless you want to be harassed. I'd love to see this place drown under the thumb of it's regulars.
Used to like this pub but what I've witnessed tonight is nothing short of criminal. Do the farmers run this pub seeme to me they do. Why should they skip music someone else has paid for and get away with it, the landlord or owners do absolutely nothing to stop them. Stay away from this pub until they are either barred or move somewhere else
The Pub wasn't open but in the carpark I Went to buy a hog roast sandwich via an external catering company, Also done for Roberttown in bloom, well organised, not too long to wait full of meat, would have liked a little more crackling, but was worth the £6
