Great welcome from the bar staff (Beth). Offered a taster of the Moorhouses Straw Dogs and it was delicious. £2.90 for a pint. Cosy beer garden at the back, with a covered area, should it rain. Music playing but at a good level, so it was easy to talk without shouting. We liked it here.
This pub has a new manager Shannon she's only been in 8 weeks. She's very friendly & has a bubbly personality. I can already see the pub getting more customers in everytime i visit. The atmosphere and staff are great. The pub is clean and beer great. There's now singers on every Thursdays to see how that goes. Haven't marked the food as they don't sell meals, only your normal, crisp, nuts, etc.
Cracking karaoke no frills, good time pub with friendly staff. Go for Weds and Thurs for cheesy entertainment and stay for sports, slots, and the secret menu. Staff love trying out new recipes!
The D.J Jack Miller was absolutly awesome. Played a variety of great tunes. A1* from me.
Beer served at reasonable prices ideal for sports fans they cover horse racing football snooker amongst others well worth a visit.
Good atmosphere if you're looking for a nice afternoon pint while watching sports out. Thin they have quiz nights etc during the week, decent prices too for beers.
Prices are as low as they come! Good music and good beer! Also the toilets are really good. Don't miss this stop on your trip around Halifax!
