   Discovered this chippy about a year ago and found that it served great food at a fair price in very clean and bright surroundings. Go around 2-3 times a month and last couple of times the quality has been off and food cool. Been tonight and ordered large cod and chips two fishcakes and chips and mushy peas. Usual fast service but again the food is cold particularly the chips?? Will now have to find another new chippy, fortunately there are lots in the area. Such a shame. Best to give this one a miss!!!

   Went in before closing - all they had was a kebab and a sausage. Charged £10, which felt steep for what it was and doesn’t seem in line with the menu. The food was fine, but would be better if the prices were clearer and staff checked before charging

   I will always rate this chippy as its always outstanding and one of the best if not the best chippy's in coventry and the staff are top notch cant fault the place, but however after my recent visit since the staff have come back from there holiday or what not the chips wer not cooked enough and some were still hard in the middle and with ordering and looking at the new prices they have introduced, I feel like it's an absolute distater and are asking for to much £3 for a batterd sausage is absolutely outrageous £3 for a cone of chips, where i can get them elsewhere for around £1.60, But £10 for a large doner wrap or doner meat and chips in a tray is just asking for it, and I can honestly say I can get the same for half the price at different chippy's but apart from that this still one of the best around but surely to God at least review the prices and lower them abit for what you get but also at least check the cooking timing of the chips !!

   Used this chip shop for the first time tonight..... won't be going back! They didn't put half the food in the bag so some of us are going hungry tonight. They asked me if I wanted salt and vinegar on the chips, I said plenty please.... well they might as well as not bothered. Kids had a burger meal, bread was soggy.

   Update 28/04/25 - a family member tried the delivery today and yet again absolute trash. Wouldn't even feed a dog incase they might get infected. Thankfully Uber has processed the refund, so really confused where are all the positive feedback is coming from. Please refer to the second picture which was taken from today's delivery. Final lesson learnt, please save your money and also prevent yourself from food poisoning. Update to the comments left from the owner: You can say whatever you like to feed your own delusional narrative, the pictures below ARE of the chips YOU served speak for itself, and not only that, Uber Eats kindly refunded the full amount. If you read below to your other reviews, it seems like I am not the only customer who is disgusted by your food??!!! *drops the mic* If i could rate this a zero, I would. Absolutely horrifying experience today - uncooked cod, old and disgusting chips (see the picture attached), all stale - I wouldn't even feed a rodent this. Tried many times, hoping the quality of their food would improve, but today was the last time, the order was trashed in the bin, wasting lot of money for food that isn't even EATEN, just isn't acceptable. Absolutely feel violated that they can think they can continue to serve thier customers with such quality of food, coupled with charging such high prices. NEVER AGAIN??!!!!!

   What a joke! Just got home Small mushy is full of water green water . Must’ve known it was the last or mixed with water with tiny bits of machine absolutely disgusting. I spent £5.50 or fish and chips I miss you Peace no way ever again will I come to this chippy .

   We were served quickly, only had chips and scallops but really enjoyed them. The scallops had amazing crispy batter and were really big, the best I have had in this area. I would recommend going in and collecting so you get everything as crispy as possible. A large portion of chips fed 3 of us with good sized portions. There was on street parking available nearby.
