Pleasant little village cafe. A decent coffee and a really nice slice of Quiche Lorraine. There was also a nice selection of homemade cakes available.
Me and a friend came in after running out of water. The store was closed but the lady let us in and we were going to buy a cake and ask to fill our bottles up. Unfortunately because it was closed it was cash only which we didn’t have. The very nice lady filled our bottles for free anyway, while the store was closed and without us buying anything! Amazing customer service

Lovely people and food, though the website is wrong, it closes at 2 pm on Saturdays, not 4 pm
The home made food at The Food Room is amazing. The price is perfect to. You get huge, homemade portions. The quiche was the best I have had in 40 years, Honestly! Only downside is there are only 3 tables. One for four to five people and two tables of two. More than worth it.
This is a small village cafe with a real traditional feel. The food is exceptionally good and reasonable priced but it is cash only! A definate place to visit if your passing through.
The food is good and the prices are reasonable and the staff seem pleasant. The drawback for me is that there is no customer toilet. I'd have thought that to be an essential in a cafe.
On one of our few out and abouts to get items needed. As we were out longer than planned visited the Food Room for a snack. I entered a covid aware cafe. The rolls were made to order, where large, well filled and very tasty. On a fine day it is nice to sit outside and watch the world go by.
