   Avoid avoid avoid! At an inflated price we mistakenly had a new kitchen with Howdens Caerphilly. Work surface came and no draining board which was paid for with an invoice but the office is so disorganised that everyone blamed everyone else and the result was they refused to put the draining board in we had paid for. Then another quartz surface was fitted by Howdens which obviously was slightly out of size and pushes on another cupboard bowing it out of alignment. Now the cupboard doesn’t close which it did before. The cupboard closed perfectly before the surface was fitted by Howdens fitters. “Sally” at Howdens who is supposedly customer service doesn’t understand the problem and is says it wasn’t caused by her fitters when it’s the most blatant and obvious cause. If you want a ~£20k kitchen with doors that don’t close and things missing then howdens Caerphilly is your place.

   I called to make a payment. The receptionist who took my call was quite blunt & rude. She kept putting me on hold without saying anything. She had issues finding the account & taking the payment. She Wasn’t helpful at all & she didn’t seem bothered. I Think she said her name was neville. On a positive note: delivery was quick

   From the time Richard came out to measure and the meeting in shop to pick kitchen. We Were under no pressure to buy even give us the design to keep. They recommended Jeff Cooke to fit the kitchen who we came out to see kitchen sent in electrician give a quote all within a week Kitchen is fitted to a high standard and we are really pleased with it. We would recommend howdens and Jeff Cooke without a doubt . Thank you Debbie and Nigel Fox

   Disappointed with howdens as we ordered a kitchen and you sent us a wrong corner unit which has put us on hold .We have got to pay our builder extra to complete our kitchen and he can only do it when he is available and we have been without a sink for 3 weeks will not deal with howdens again.

   Nightmare of an experience . The kitchen I viewed and purchased was totally different to the kitchen I received. Every delivery was incorrect and incomplete. I purchased a beautiful thick cornice to frame my units. What I have is a cornice the same thickness as the end panels. Until the cornice was fitted I had no idea the thickness was wrong. Ian the manager was obstructive, indifferent and not even bothered that a lot of money had been paid out. He has no regards for Trading Standards, consumers rights, the complaints process or care about the stress from the treatment I was receiving. My purchase was on the basis, that I would get the drawn up kitchen shown to me in my pre viewing interview. It's not what I have. So I've contacted the TV shows to see what they can do for me, To Name and Shame. Kira was the only person who was able to fix the mix up but it took over 2 weeks.

   Having purchased a complete new kitchen several months ago, I found all the stuff very helpful and courtious. I recently re visited the store on two occasions. I was served by an assistant who's name was Keira. On each occasion Keira was very helpful and courtious. Nothing was too much trouble. She was very professional and a credit to your company. Well done!!

   Extremely poor customer care, my elderly mother used them for a kitchen, the overall price of the kitchen increased 3 times despite paying a deposit and without making any amendments to the order, only when they were told to cancel and refund the deposit the agreed on the original price. Furthermore half the items were missing when delivered along with other items being sent that weren’t needed (although still charged for). When asking to return the items not used, eg. a door , they’ll collect them however they won’t refund them due to them being ‘part of a set’ . Strangely enough though you can actually purchase the door separately. Complete con merchants. *Update 19/3/21: despite the response on here from the customer care team, we sent details as requested and a month later and neither myself or mother had received any further contact from them.
