Took an elderly relative to find out about curtains. The store member was very helpful and put my relative at ease. We didn't want to buy/order from Dunelm on the day, but the assistant happily gave us an estimated quote. We will be buying curtains from Dunelm soon.
Not all items on website are in store. The store is crammed with all sorts of household items, quite a good selection, cafe area with nice selection of treats. Large car park, entering and exiting the car park needs to be done with caution as the short road leading to the car park has people poorly parked on it(not really for parking) at certain times of day, and no road markings with the occasional inconsiderate driver flying across other vehicles paths at speed.
5 Star service from Catherine when I rang the Pontypridd store today. I placed an online order for click and collect but never received a confirmation email but that wasn’t a problem as Catherine came to my rescue and found my order and all was good. Keep being helpful and friendly!
This is a fairly large Dunelm shop offering a variety of homewares. The shop sells bedding, curtains, cushions, artwork, kitchen utensils, crockery, lighting and a variety of other things for the home. The shop is wheelchair accessible although some of the aisles might be a little tight if busy. There is also a lift providing access to the first floor, located next to the stairs. There are a couple of disabled parking spaces near the shop entrance. There is a small cafe located on the first floor. The staff here are usually very friendly and the food and drinks are reasonably priced.
The cafeteria food is always fresh , served with a smile and tasty too equal to its appearance . Nice atmosphere, even though it is a in store cafeteria . breakfast for two came to £10.50.
We find Dunelm handy for things for the home. But the sandwiches we had in the café were about the worst we'd had anywhere. But we also had apple pie that was delicious
Shop has plenty of options but a maze to navigate. Toilets were semi clean. Prices are higher than the competition.
My wife loves this store. Good shop for household goods. Bought a few things, and spent more than planned as us in these places. Good cafe for a rest and a bite to eat before continuing the shopping.
Always a good experience coming here, very inviting with a good selection of items. Good coffee shop inside too.. Shop was very clean and organised. Till service always a bit slow but similar to every other Dunelm I visit.
