What An Amazing first time experience by having my dashcams installed by Dedicated, Professional, Kind, Respectful & Courteous Team that are Lewis & Sean. I purchased a Thinkware front & rear dashcam for my new car which I wanted hardwired & within a few hours, the quote came through at a price which was very reasonable & less than 2 other companies provided with the usual reason as to why I should use them. Having received the quote I then advised Lewis that since him providing his quote, that I had now purchased an external battery for the dashcams to have their own power source as they have a 24hr surveillance mode when parked, so asked him to quote for the additional work that needed to be undertaken. His quote never changed! CJM Automotive offer a mobile service I asked Lewis if he could come to me today (4th Oct) & Lewis explained that when it gets to Autumn, he doesn't offer mobile services due to the unpredictable nature of the weather & that the service is seasonal & he could fit me in if I could come to his premises. As any decent customer would not want & or expect someone to come out in atrocious weather, so I was more than happy to drive to him, especially given that Storm Amy had landed. I was greeted with a warm welcome by Sean & he set to work in no time, everything was working well but the external battery was not doing the job that it was meant to. Methodically working through his connections & the issue still remained, so after an hour or so rechecking things he made a quick call to Lewis & he went through a few things & it still wouldn't do what it was supposed to do after an hour or so of him rechecking things. 5 minutes later, Lewis arrived & both he & Sean talked through the wiring & within 10 mins worked out, that it was nothing to do with Sean's installation, it was down to the onboard capacitor in the external battery, blocking the fuse that it was connected to, so it was not charging itself having been connected to a direct current. An additional fuse was added & viola! The external battery was working as it should've been! Both Sean & Lewis went way beyond my expectations! Most installers would have quit at the first opportunity, but not them, they went through a methodical thought process, checking all scenarios & possible reasons for the external battery not performing as it should, no rushing or profanities, like you may hear from others. Lewis & Sean are 2 of the most kind, courteous, respectful & professional people that I have ever met! Not only did they treat me with respect, they also respected my car & how they removed the trim & ran the cabling & then reattached the trim, with absolutely no damage to the wiring or trim, no visible wires to be seen. They then went through the apps showing me how it works & ensuring that I was happy with everything, which I was. I then asked due to the additional time that they had spent working out what the issue was & also the fact that Lewis had not advised me when I advised that I had bought the external battery that he had not factored in his original quote, what was the final amount to be paid, he said the same amount as quoted! Now that there is unrivalled service thay you will not find anywhere! I have absolutely no qualms in recommending CJM Automotive & Lewis & Sean, you'd be foolish to look & or go anywhere else! I called upon their services again a few weeks after they had installed my dashcams & Ivolt external battery, for them to install a WiFi router so that I can monitor the status of my car via the Thinkware Connected App. This allows me to see the location of my car & the view from both front & rear cameras. This was another quality install with no unsightly & annoying visible wiring. Thanks Lewis & Sean, you will be recommended by me to anybody looking for dashcams to be installed & or any mechanical, MOT & servicing needs.

Lewis did a great job of fitting my front and rear dash cams. He takes a huge amount of pride in his work and does a really thorough job to make sure everything is fully safe and cables are neat and tidy. Everything looks so sleek and you wouldn’t even notice the cameras were there. Thanks Lewis for a quick response to my request for my front and rear dash cam fitting. I didnt have the mounts as I had forgotten to get them from car when it was written off, Lewis sourced them online and sent me the links to buy them. Everything has been done and left neat and tidy, thank you again.
