Friendly service and the usual quality expected from a tesco cafe

That is good they have English breakfast for the reasonable price. But why don’t they serve any vegetables with the breakfasts?! No cucumbers, no cabbages, no carrots, no salads? These vegetables are not expensive, but they make your meal balanced, adding the fibre. Please. Add some vegetables to your breakfast menu, because now it’s tasty but unhealthy!

Came her for lunch with family and the staff openly laughed when I said I'd looked at the allergens and almost nothing was Gluten Free. I said that in their allergens the children's chips were GF but under Sides they were not. They advised this is because "chips" for children are not actually chips but "seasoned fries". So I went to order the seasoned fries with a side of beans, as listed on their menu, but when using the self serve tills the beans aren't available as a side as listed. NONE of the children's set meals are a gluten free option either. So... after spending £2.75 on a side of fries, the attached picture is the disgraceful portion provided for that price. Ripped off, unhelpful service, zero menu options for dietary requirements and will not be coming back to eat here.

Tried the new self service machine to order the vegan breakfast. The machine was easy to use and offered a choice of cash or card payments and allowed me to earn points on my clubcard. Ordered to eat in and the service was polite, tidy and quick. The vegan breakfast has very herby vegan sausages which was full of flavour. I enjoyed my time at this café

£10 for a breakfast. And it definitely was not worth it. Under cooked food. Poor quality. Would never buy a breakfast from there

Really poor service only 1 person running the tables. Waited at the counter for several minutes - the assistant walked past with no acknowledgement and disappeared into the back. Another assistant walked through with a trolley full of groceries again no acknowledgement. The lady then appeared out of the back with a plate to give to a customer sat down. I asked if anyone else was serving as I had been waiting for several minutes? She responded with no I'm on my own and you haven't been waiting that long!!! What terrible customer service I walked out in disgust!

I had an amazing lunch at the cafe with my wife, mum and baby girl. Basically we sat down to feed the baby and ordered food and drinks. We thought let's try Tesco cafe for a change since they had a major decor and menu change. We ordered brie and cranberry toastie, Yorkshire pudding wrap (this was given with a gravy) and chorizo, egg avocado on sourdough toast and some chips on side. All good was super tasty, chips were piping hot. Star of our lunch was the sourdough toast, as this was the very first place that gave me 2 toast with eggs. And it was fabulous taste wise. At the end of the enjoyed the food quite a lot. Will visit again.

Appallingly slow service at the counter. The vegetarian sausages my friend ordered were raw and cold inside and obviously inedible. The egg yolks were hard, even though the advertising placards promise luscious soft eggs. Canned drinks extortionately priced.

Had a late lunch from Tesco Cafe, food was decent, Fish and chips was nice, burger was worse than average, ordered Mac and cheese as kids meal, that felt over cooked from frozen. So I can rate a 6/10 for food. I liked the spacious ambience. I would rate 8/10 as a grocery store cafe ambience.
