Staff very welcoming. Coffee nice. Good food selection. We had a pork and stuffing batch and a turkey stuffing batch. Both were very well filled but sadly they were cold on arrival. It was very busy and, so we didn’t want to make a fuss. Nonetheless, the batches were tasty just not having them served warm took the edge off.
Visit once or twice a week on my daily lunch time ish walks around the park for a cake and a diet coke. My favourite cakes are vegan carrot and pistachio cake and muffins are nice too. Quite pricey I would say, and taking card only is annoying!
A couple of weeks ago I went to War Memorial Park with a group . We had to buy 18 different hot drinks in one go. The staff had been amazing about it. Managed the queue and kept smiling and chatting despite the wait. Well done all on the day. Very professional, positive, helpful. We just had hot drinks and sat inside. The queue wasn’t very clear where to order. The staff were working very hard because it was so busy. It just wasn’t very clean and our drinks were very basic which didn’t reflect the price of the drinks. There seems like they need more staff but unfortunately, with cuts this won’t happen.
Not a big fan of, to be honest, I popped in there hoping to get some ice-cream for my little one. There were just a few options of ice lollies. We got a latte and a flat white. Quite moderate. Seats were mostly taken, but there were benches nearby to use. The carrot cake was good a bit on dry side and so sweet, the Victoria sponge not so exciting. I guess this cafe is more of grab something simple if you have to, otherwise a good place to just seat for a regular coffee.
Very friendly and efficient service. Great coffee and cakes. Big area to sit outside either part sheltered or in the sun.
Really nice cafe with lots of outdoor seating and some inside. Great selection of cakes (including gluten free options). Coffee was nice and the staff were friendly. Menu also looks really good too!
Very nice food and selection, which was also fairly priced. Plenty of seating inside and out. It was a Sunday we visited and we felt the service was very slow for what we ordered. But overall it is really nice and well located in the park for a rest after a walk around

Great coffee! Staff were friendly and food order out quickly. Good menu and a pre-packaged gluten free cake option. Cake pictured is a carrot cake. Ate mine before it could be memorialised.
