   I went to this so called school it was the worst thing that could have happened to me why 1 you loose your childhood 2 you never get to know your family or they know you 3 lack of social life when you finely leave the place 4 lack of any good grades after all 5 you have a bad habit around food ie eat too quickly or not at all then when you leave it carrys on 6 you will find it hard to have any relationship of any sort 7 waist of money 8 your never talk about about the place 9 no you don't get over home sickness yes it's reall I think that's enough you get the point

   Ever since it became a priory site the school became unsuitable for most people with difficulties I was there for years and it was sadly a very difficult place to be. There were students who viciously bullied others to no punishment and some members of staff who were assigned here and quickly moved on after they were found to be very violent. I hope whoever goes here now has a better experience than mine or other students who were there when I was Also the students have been hiding drugs under the shed for years now and one lad once shot a kid with a crossbow in his foot. I suggest u guys look under the tennis court sheds if you haven't already. Also please pull out the drawers in the bedrooms and search the space beneath, lots of drugs and alcohol had been stored there when I studied here.

   Great education, in a beautiful little village. Not that I saw much of the village when I attended the school from years 8 to 11 2002 to 2005. I may have disliked it back then but looking back it was a good place. I remember when it was a boys only school, how things have changed.

   I have been visiting Mark College for many years in my capacity as an independent educational psychologist and I rank this school very highly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The school meals are excellent (the cooks do a great job!). The pupils consistently tell me how much happier they are at Mark compared with their previous schools and my assessments suggest that their learning and psychological needs are well met. I would urge any parent or professional seeking a placement for a pupil with dyslexia or dyslexia-related difficulties to give this school serious consideration.
