I cannot get over how amazing the chai latte cake was! Heavenly! Literally! The original pumpkin spice girly (also lots of cross over with chai spices) was St Hildegard I was literally praising eating this cake which has the spices she called βthe spices of joyβ. I felt that joy today!! The service was great the atmosphere was really good the food was excellent quality and a brilliant price (I also had a toasted ciabatta which was full to the brim!) highly recommend!!!

There are a few coffee places here, each with its own personality. This one just has a nice energy to it, with various seating options: stools & high table, normal tables and sofas, staffed by people of different ages, music playing at a nice βbackgroundβ level. A place you could easily spend an hour or two. Lots of cake & slice options. I had the lemon and blueberry cake. For me, Miss Fussy Pants, the cake was a little dry and the icing too sweet, but Iβm not marking the place down from 4 star because this is just my personal preference for non-sweet icing. I would recommend the owner / baker goes to Time for Tea on Castle Hill and tries their Lemon & Cherry cake for comparison of a moist, fluffy cake and an icing that isnβt overpowered by sweetness.

When we visit new areas we always try to support local independent businesses. Cafe on the Corner looked interesting so we popped in for tea and cake. The decor is lovely and the staff helpful. Orders are taken and paid for at the table. I ordered the vegan/gluten free chocolate cake-it was very dry/stale ; the waitress changed it for a blueberry cake which was delicious. At first glance the selection of cakes was amazing and it was good to see a few gluten-free cakes available, however, the gluten free cakes were in the same space as other cakes so high possibility of cross contamination.

A small coffee shop which used to provide a pleasant and warm experience. Have tried coffee from here multiple times and most of the times it was good. Recently we had experienced some issues with the taste but I feel that will only that particular day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Tried dark hot chocolate which turned out to be a bad choice. Vegan cake was not upto mark. I will try to stick to simple menu items. Overall a good experience. Visited Oct 23.

Looking at other google reviews we decided to take a visit to Coffee on the Corner. You'd never know it was the old Natwest bank..this place is fab. Nice atmosphere, comfy chairs and very smiley staff. Great service from the moment we walked through the door, the Victoria sponge and carrot cake are scrumptious. They don't skimp on portion size here.. Great cappuccino and latte too if you love a proper coffee. Can't wait to go back and try something else off the menu. 10/10...see you on our next visit.

Excellent coffee and generously portioned tasty cakes. It has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. There is also an outside seating area at the back if you donβt fancy the comfy sofas. An excellent social, reading or remote working spot within a lovely town centre.

Great selection of cakes to go with excellent coffee, and a nice outdoor area to sit in as well as a well furnished indoor area.
