   Pooped in here for the first time a week ago... Saturday afternoon, we were the first in.. guy behind bar looked at me.. nothing, no welcome, looked at me gone out.. had a pint anyway but found both the guys behind the bar quite rude and very unwelcoming... Shame as a lovely little pub... Definitely will never return here.. just a simple honest review.. nice pint.. unpleasant staff

   Great little pub to stop into for a pint. We moored up along the grand canal with our narrow boat and took a walk into town (20 min walk). Very friendly staff, good selection of beers, and a spacious beer garden behind the pub.

   No food as advertised on their website - apparently the case for 3 years now! Also, they don't take cards, so if you want a drink, take some cash! :(
