   Timing chain broken and taken to Haider motors. Quote was £1200 to £1500. Work was given as car ceased. You hope after changing the timing chain car would be fixed. Visited mid way through mechanic told me bearing is loose and fly wheel is moving. Said need to wrap up and chances of 50/50 getting it right. Needs to order the parts and will cost me for bearing fixing £400 to £1000 and they are able to fix it. He wrapped up the car and charged £1350 but accepted £1300. But problem was still there, no power and miss firing after spending £1300. Money is not the problem if it would have cost me another £800 but should have been all fixed. When you open the engine I don’t understand why was not all fixed. ( after doing online search those problems should have fixed at the same time, bearing cost was £150 and flywheel £250 all brand new and labour changes I would have paid further) I had to sell that car for £490, unbelievable spend £1300 in hope that it will be fixed. Sadly I have been going to them last 8 years but would not go to them now. They kept the car for 2 weeks without any work. Then car was fixed 3 rd week ending. Costing all the fair of taxi for those 3 weeks. Car Registration: CP65KXW

   My dad left his tipper van there to be fixed on a Monday, they stated the part needed to be ordered from ford which they will do and will be arriving then to be fitted by the following Friday. Called them on Friday for an update and the response was “the part is on its way”, we gave them the benefit of the doubt until the following Monday. On that Monday we found out the part hadn’t even been ordered and they were trying to charging £125 for this. We took the tipper to another garage who told us what part it was, the part cost us £93. So a whole week wasted and they tried to overcharge us.
