Called in for a coffee on a Monday lunchtime. Small selection of cakes available and a few panini. Coffee tasty, panini ok, the sullen woman serving could not have been more miserable. No greeting, no smile, took an age to acknowledge we were even there. If you’re going to have a role in a venue like this surely a prime attribute would to be welcoming to customers. Bizarre. In total contrast, the lady selling the excellent variety of plants in the garden was lovely. Chatty, enthusiastic; the plants were healthy and great value. Profits to charity too. Might return for the plants, otherwise no thanks.
