   Amazing service, ambience and food. Huge portions and beautiful. Party of six. Some had Sunday roast and some had other offers on menu and we all had a variety of desserts. All excellent. They even made a big deal of the birthday girl making her feel special. First time visitors won’t be last time. Thank you so much.

   Lovely three course meal enjoyed. Service was great and attentive, love all the bold wallpapers. Great choices on the menu, we tried a Christmas themed meal was all lovely. Lamb wellington starter and beef main were very tasty. Good range of cocktails on offer too.

   Highly recommend this lovely pub. Been here thrice and always enjoyed the food, drinks and live music on Fri/Sat evenings. Amazing staffs and great atmosphere. My third visit was with my family and my kids really liked this place. Will definitely go back again.

   Lovely little pub in a small village. Amazing service and food was amazingly. Definitely recommend the railway lamb shank, so rich and flavoursome. The lamb just melted of the bone. Atmosphere was really nice. They had some live music which added to the occasion. It was first time there but will definitely return.

   Sitting here having a lovely meal we have been looked after very well. The only issue was one group of people thought it was good to complain every ten mins stating they have been waiting for 2hrs for food when they brought extra people to the restaurant they booked the table for. They have harassed the staff every ten mins asking where food is even though they ordered at 6pm and it is currently 7.44pm and have had their starter and also have their food is on the table. Thank you for a lovely evening.

   Just had Sunday Roast for Mothers Day treat. Wow. It was fantastic. Yorkshire puddings are huge and delicious. Service was brilliant too. A lovely guy called Robert served us and he was attentive, friendly and polite.

   Highly recommend visiting this place. It has really turned around. Some amazing deals with steak night. Two steaks and a bottle of wine for only £20! It’s really good steak as well. Pie night is also on if that’s your thing. Looking forward to lamb being on the new autumn menu. Friendly staff as well.

   The environment is nice with both indoor and outdoor seating. Quite an extensive menu, but pricey, soup came with two slim slices of baguette and no butter, asked for butter and was charged £1 for two portions. Starters, main, non alcoholic drink and coffee for two £50.00!

   They hosted our gender party reveal and it was absolutely fantastic! The food table was lovely, many options for our guests who loved every single thing: different types of cheese, biscuits, sausage rolls, pork pies, fruits, rolls, Scotch eggs, dips and specially the chicken goujons. All very tasty and fresh! Everyone felt welcomed by the staff and the drink service was fast and perfect! The pub looks really nice and is dog friendly, They also have the best homemade brownies I have ever ate! To finish we had local made ice cream, it was delicious! And they also have vegan options. I will definitely be back for dinner and Sunday roast!
