   I am saddened with the service I have recently received from Protec Automotive and I feel that I should let potential customers be aware of how the company works. I have had issues with my car and originally confirmed with the assistant that I did have warranty with the car but I wish for the car to be diagnosed and then decide whether we go through the warranty or pay to have the car fixed privately. When I originally completed the online form they consistently rang me to get the car booked in to be diagnosed but as soon as they had the car they never returned any calls when we rang to ask what was wrong with the car. The assistant would constantly say she’d call me back in 5 minutes and 4 hours later they hadn’t called back and they were closed. They finally called me back at 3pm the following day after being promised numerous callbacks prior to this. Mike called me and was belittling on the call from the outset. I needed further information from a previous garage for us to use the warranty but I did not send the car to be fixed, I needed to understand what was wrong with the car. Mike was rude on the phone and was not forthcoming with being helpful. His attitude came across in a derogatory & bullying behaviour and not what you expect from a reputable business. I am so disappointed with the treatment from the company. My dad went immediately to collect the vehicle as I was worried and scared to approach the garage after the way I was treated. My dad was very unhappy with the company and the way I was treated. Mike continued to be very defensive when the vehicle was collected. On the face of it, the company looks professional but the staff and attitude do not live up to the expectations. Very disappointed & need some training in good customer service.

   Had an air conditioning service and works perfectly as should. They give you a health check telling you everything they’ve done and checked. They also identified a small engine coolant leak that I was unaware of which I was able to fix myself. Customer service is really good, thank you.

As for the service, Heaven on reception was really kind and helpful; kept me updated throughout the process so my mind was at ease.    Trustworthy mechanics are hard to find. Look no further, i have found one. Protec Automotive Is the place you need to go if you want a quality service. Did a fantastic job of sorting a bodge job from previous owner of my VW Caddy. They use genuine parts and keep you well informed of any issues that may arise during the repair / service. Thank you for doing a great job. Will be using again for both of my VW’s.

   Lazy bunch that cherry pick which work they want to do. Spent 4 days been messed around by them, filled out their incredibly lengthy form, called back repeatedly after being told they would call me the next day to book me in. Manager finally has the guts to answer himself instead of a clueless receptionist, tells me "diagnostic works can't be booked in because they don't know how long it will take" what utter rubbish. Amazingly they remembered how to call people back after I posted this and the manager threatened me, told me it's a small world and I should be careful leaving bad reviews and that he was right to not take on the job?? Wonderful way to run a business. Then he hung up like a coward when I called him on ignoring me and cherry picking what jobs to do which he claimed they have every right to do.

   My sons Golf had a sound from the wheel area on the passenger side . suspected a suspension fault, Protech booked the car in for a next day appointment with a diagnosis of a bolt found embedded in the passenger tyre. The mechanics kindly put the spare wheel on to allow the car to be driven so we could get the tyre replaced. I take both of my sons vehicles to Protech for service and MOT as I get an honest service and feel we get very good service. I also prefer to support a local business instead of the big dealers.

   Super service by this garage and the people who run protec especially Michael, great bloke with a wealth of knowledge. Would not hesitate in recommending this garage. Anyone who works at next head office and needs a vehicle servicing or repairing this is a great local and convenient place to check out. Only a short walk back to work after dropping your vehicle off.

   Awesome service by an independent garage. Great team and all really helpful. Having been recommended It was a real pleasure to take my car to a local garage rather than normal chain dealers. The fact that my car was a Toyota was no problem and the electrical issue I had was quickly diagnosed. The team kept me up to date with progress reports and I had my car quickly back on the road after the repairs were done. Definitely recommended.!!
