   I would highly recommend Kevin & Old Mill Auto. He was professional, efficient & he seems like a very trustworthy & reliable mechanic. I was visiting the area for my mum’s funeral when my car started making screeching sounds. Within 3 hours he had changed the break pads & we were back on the road. Excellent service.    What a relief to go back to Old Mill. They serviced my cars for years and I was always delighted with the service. They were pleasant, welcoming, friendly, honest, good at their job and trustworthy. Neither were they patronising to a female customer. What more can anyone ask from a garage? On buying another (though secondhand) car, I got a warranty and so used the main dealer for my service for my well known German make of car. Shortly after its second service, a leak developed. I took it to the main dealer in Bradford and had an extremely worrying experience. I was given an estimate of £1800 to rectify this and do other work picked up in a ‘health check’. This health check certainly didn’t do my health any good as it was £1800 for ‘urgent’ work. I contacted Kevin at Old Mill, booked in the car within a couple of days, and now have a leak which has been fixed (though we agreed it should be monitored to check no further work is needed) and a genuine and honest check has taken place on other recommended work This extremely sensible approach has saved me £1710. Yes. £1710. I paid £90. If indeed I do need a full part replacing, it will cost approximately £400 rather than £700 at the main dealer. I wasn’t simply after a cheap job. I have kept each of my last three cars for 10 years and have always wanted a good job doing at a fair price and have been willing to pay that. I can not recommend this garage highly enough. I felt I had an honest appraisal of my car and of the whole situation about my experience with the main dealer (putting forward some arguments in their favour which I’m very happy to accept). I think Kevin is open, honest and straight. The place certainly doesn’t look fancy and swanky and they don’t wash and vac your car but I trust them and that is worth a lot.

   I don't have enough stars for this garage. This story is very unusual but it shows how professional and trustworthy these people are. I bought a car from a dealer 3 months ago and suddenly there is something wrong with the car and I don't know what it is. It turns out is the clutch and the gear box is damaged, the cost of the repair was around £400. As soon as I told them I bought the car only 3 months ago and the clutch was replaced when I bought it, they advised me to go back to the dealer but it wasn't safe to drive the car. So Old Mill Autos fixed my car, not only they rang my warranty company loads of times to figure out if it was covered, also rang the dealer and explained what happened. Obviously this helped, how many mechanics would ring the dealer you got the car from to explain what's wrong with it? thanks to this I went to this garage and paid nothing because they explained what was wrong so the dealer paid for it. And not only that, also my car works so much better now! I would definitely come back and recommend this garage to everyone. They care about they customers and fix their cars.
