Had my mot done here, worst place I have ever been to, only take cash you don’t get a invoice for the work they have done.And they don’t do the work Properly, after taking my car back several times because the car just was not right after saying they fixed the problem ,when I took it back to have it looked at again they deny it’s they fault, complete rip off, I took my car somewhere else and got it sorted, the brakes they had done were faulty, the job that these rip off merchant should of done in first place. Would have given nil stars but it wouldn’t let me. Do not use this place they rip you off they put faulty back breaks on my car.
Ignore any bad reviews written out of malice.. !!! I've been bringing all my families cars here for MOTs for years, I'm literally here every few months and I can honestly say all the MOT lads are totally honest and trustworthy, if any of my cars fail the MOT its because it genuinely needed to fail, after all it's me and my family's safety that they are looking after. The repair and service work they carry out is competitively priced and always done professionally with a quick turn around. They are always busy and have vehicles queuing up for MOTs or servicing work, that speaks volumes !!! Long may they continue as I don't believe I could find another garage like them that I would trust.
Will fail your MOT for something they already knew needed work, even if you’ve gone in way before your MOT expires. And then claim there’s guidelines and policy’s that they need to follow- whilst only taking cash in hand. They will also claim they’ve done a proper MOT hence why they fail it the first time, but then fail to tell you about actual issues with lame suggestions like ‘the car might need xy and z’. You’re telling me as car ‘experts’ you don’t know whether a part needs changing or not? And will let people drive their car when it struggles above the speed of 30 and has multiple lights on the dash. I could be wrong but doesn’t a MOT test whether or not a vehicle is safe and roadworthy? Oh and the good reviews? As long as you’re a man or accompanied by someone who knows their stuff they most likely wont do you over.

I have used this garage for 7 years for M.O.T and always received a fair and honest M.O.T, the reason I have given this four star not five is because this years M.O.T got a little personal. When I take my car for a test I ask for one thing to be aware of faults which effect the safety of the car, this year there where issues mentioned which had nothing to do with the M.O.T. To explain this I did a lot of work on my own car to save money, I felt the tester didn't like this and felt another garage did the work so made a issue of commenting not knowing I did my own work. I would have no issues in giving them work to do if I decided not to do the work myself, they have always been honest with my test so I am sure they would be honest with any job I would give them. The facts are I can do my own jobs but I can't do my own M.O.T , even if I had of used another garage to do the work it is less then professional service to comment. There are lots of garages that does mechanical work not doing M.O.Ts and it is up to the person who car it is who does the work. M.O.T s should be factual only commenting on M.O.T issues failures and advisory issues not on the workmanship that doesn't effect the test. Yes I would recommend this garage but room for slight changes to give a professional service not a personal service, I am not interested in opinions but facts.
