Very clean bar. Warm and friendly welcome. Quick service at the bar. Went on a Saturday night for floor filler, house, rnb. Get there early if you want hip hop/rnb - played before 10pm. Good dnb section, my friend loved it. Some dance but mostly Dancehall, which to be fair Cov loves. But not really advertised. Very safe bar for women. We requested a couple of songs, weren’t played as I suspect they didn’t fit with the dance/dnb/dancehall vibes. We’ll know what to expect next time. Was great to find a Scottish bar in Cov.

I was there last night. I went to get a cider for £4 when a bar staff told me the minimum for card is £5 so she suggested I pay £8 for two and get the second one later that night, which wasn’t a bad idea. But, later after a couple of ciders when I wanted to get an apple juice, they told me the minimum for card is £4! So there was no reason to pay for two ciders at the beginning of the night! The band was good last night. But the DJ was too loud for such a pub and maybe shouldn’t play club music right before the live band.

Good atmosphere and nice people inside, very interesting decorations inside as well as in the back yard, I enjoyed time spent in this pub

Nice layout and atmosphere, popped in for a pint recently and sat in a quiet spot and watched a bit of footy, nice pint of ipa, looking forward to trying one of their breakfasts...

The place has been transformed since I was here a few years back. Looks and feels great . Bar staff are friendly and welcoming . Wicked place that does live music too. Well done.

Only in the area for a couple of days for work but stumbled across this great place. Really friendly staff, excellent spacious outside seating area which was showing the football but also had plenty of space for me who didn’t want to watch it. Had a lovely steak and a pint and would thoroughly recommend popping in the the same. Will be coming back tomorrow before I leave!
