We had a lovely visit, second time we've been, and now with new menu. New pizzas are really nice and the 2-4-1 pizza deal on a Monday is very worth it! Drinks are nice, staff are friendly, and the little booth we got in the corner was lovely.

This evening I had the most unpleasant encounter with the staff at the Cottage. In particular the duty Manager Liam who clearly needs to learn empathy but more importantly go on a basic training course on dealing with customers. I have travelled quite a long way to celebrate my friend’s birthday this evening with my young children. There were many children there as part of the group, which were a large proportion of the paying customers in the establishment. We were told by one staff member who was very blunt and uncompromising that the children were not allowed to eat anything not purchased on site, followed then the Liam….I have respect for these rules, we didn’t order a pizza or food from the local takeaway. The children had some bags of sweets…Anyone with children will know this goes a long way to help when keeping them entertained. We were threatened that they would be removed from the children. I offered to buy sweets from them but they don’t sell them. Not ideal as all they have is pizza which one of my children is unable to eat. Needless to say, Liam’s ego at being dressed down by a frustrated mother, raising my voice at him like a disobedient child who wouldn’t back down didn’t stop him. He also threatened me with not being served further…..not a problem for me. Anyway, when Santa came out to deliver the selection boxes of sweets to the kids, I’m sure Liam was itching to wrestle him to the ground, given the level of shade he was throwing in our direction, and ruin what could have been a fantastic evening. Nice work. Suggestion, maybe stock some bags of sweets as well as crisps which we had already purchased….save yourself the hassle.

Decent beers, aweful bar service. They serve who they fancy and have no idea who was next. Food was okay, but how cheap to charge a pound for some sauce! Sauce should be free when we spend £70 on a meal!! And on top of all of that they don't serve ketchup. Go to the royal oak down the road instead, fantastic pub that.

Went and tried the new menu here and was suitably impressed with all the food that we ordered. Pizzas were as tasty as usual (if not better!), the rainbow salad and caprese salad were both delicious but the Mac and Cheese with pastrami was heavenly. Well worth trying as all were beautifully presented and the staff were exceptionally helpful. Looking forward to going again!

I've been to the Cottage quite a few times and tried different dishes, including the pizzas (cooked in a real pizza oven), the one-pot dishes and, and the Sunday roast: everything was amazing and so full of flavour! Service was swift and the staff very kind. Sticky toffee pudding is delicious, recommend that if you want some pudding after your meal.

Came to this little pub tucked away from the main high street on a Tuesday evening and was presently surprised. Warm and cozy inside, only one person working but service was quick and very friendly, and the pizzas were truly delicious with their own brewery DNA as well going down a treat. will definitely be coming back again soon to visit my new local to sample some more food

I used to go here as a kid, and sit in the garden eating crisps while my dad drank beer. It's changed a lot since then, lost its soul but is friendly, does decent beer and reasonable food. And the garden looks canny.

Lovely pub in the heart of Earlsdon. We came here for lunch and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, the menu is rather limited, but the food was very tasty. I'd definitely recommend the prawns!

The Cottage has a good sized patio area with heaters. The food was good and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly.
