   This is one of those places that we meet up prior to going into town, often spending the afternoon in the back court if its a nice day. Food is good. Service is always solid, bar gets busy! Atmosphere kinda local pub, but I like that.

   Nice atmosphere, quite charming. Quiet lunch was appreciated. They ran out of the pie, so i took the steak for the onion rings but there were only 2 rings and too many peas. The beef was not cooked rare enough, and would have been nice if accompanied by a red wine or pepper sauce.

   My colleague and I went for pints of beer in this famous pub. Excellent location and is next to the Parish Church. Along with beer, my colleague tried lasagne and I tried Chicken katsu with chips and peas. This pub never disappoints anyone in terms of the food and service. Nice and warm pub.

   Sunday lunchtime... 10 covers, superb meals arrived in good time. All cooked to perfection. Very attentive staff.... Nothing too much trouble!... I think we've just found our new family pub dining venue! We will return!

   Had the misfortune to visit the old library in royal Leamington spa today and all I can say is the service was so slow my coffee was ice cold before the food arrived. Witch ( large breakfast) was cold to the point I could place my finger in the tomato without it even worming said finger. No sausages and a frozen lump of butter in the middle of the nearly cooked bacon . This happens but within a few minutes of the food arriving we were asked to move so some work could be carried out that still hadn't happened bye the time we left not impressed

   Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was good. Good beer and the staff were very pleasant. Only thing to let it down was everywhere felt sticky - floors and tables. Floor didn't bother me too much but if you're trying to eat you really need to spray and wipe the tables clean after the night before. Saying that we'll definitely visit again.

   The place is spacious, lots of tables to choose from plus a beer garden out the back with a lovely little view. The service was great, not keen on my drink I ordered but that was just to my taste. The prices were extremely competitive, great value for money.
