Meet a friend here for lunch with my wife and daughter, we had booked in advance to avoid not getting a table. On arrival we stood at the sign that said wait to be seated but nobody came to greet us, after a while someone from the bar yelled sit anywhere you like, which we did and ordered food and drinks. We ordered 3 carverys and a kids pizza and chips, We waited for the pizza to arrive before going up to get our carverys which took ages and we had to ask twice before it arrived the carvery was ok but the pizza was horrible the base was paper thin and dry and the cheese and tomato topping was too, when we complained about the pizza the server didn't care! When I ask are they normally like that he responded "I don't know I don't look at the food on the plate I just take it to the table" It was clear from his response that nothing was going to be done so we paid and left.

Had a lovely family meal out this evening. Have never been to Tollgate Stonehouse before. We order a little of everything and fully enjoyed it all! Reece was very attentive and was always on hand. Food delivered hot and tables were cleared away quickly. Thank you! Will return again if we are in the area :)

Probably the worst meal I’ve ever eaten. Veg dry and freezing cold. Could of re-soled working boots with roast potatoes. Was asked by the chief / cook how my meal was and when I said it was freezing he laughed and closed the door!!! Won’t be going back. On the plus side the mint sauce and cranberry sauce was nice the meal I got and what I left

Really enjoyable, good food and very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very attentive, Emily was very courteous and efficient. One of, if not my favourite carvery in the west Midlands.

Very nice carvery, but £4.95 for a Sticky Toffee Pudding with Custard.... the pudding was a tiny cupcake that was almost bitesized, and the custard was clearly tinned and cold! Staff were all friendly and willing to help.

Staff were friendly enough, service wasn't too bad. The food is just not amazing though! My mum ordered the gammon and when it came, it looked like it had been cooked days ago and was SO dry! I ordered a beef burger and it honestly just wasn't very nice, I've had nicer burgers in kebab shops. Overall, not the worst experience but definitely won't go back for food.
