   Great local community pub. Proper friendly and cosy. The Vale, Marstons and Matt and Ash do it again! Publife and a packed garden on BH Sun 24th August with music and singing, what could be more summer and British than that! Too many places just don't do live music and I'm telling you, pubs will kill themselves if they don't risk upsetting some people for a few hours of absolute, sheer pleasure! People wearing VIP lanyards, Hooch glasses etc just made it a quirky brilliant garden sing song, loved it and thanks for the licence, even if it was for few hours, it was worth every minute!

   Didn't plan to use this pub, but it was closest to a Local café which was closed. Quiet and nice surroundings, food was good but service could have been a lot better. It was unfortunate that the soft drinks pump had stopped working & the only coffees available were out of packets. Will put service down to basic cover for a Monday & the drinks pump not working. Would visit again, surroundings were pleasant and lounge is light & airy.

   This place is brilliant, food is good, friendly staff, good service. Went there on the 23rd of December, listening to the wonderful voice of Kirsty Anne Music. The atmosphere was electric dancing and singing along all helped by The Vales brilliant manager who joins in and gets everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. We need more managers and pubs like The Vale, Coventry

   We took the grand children for breakfast with Santa. They had hours of fun and games after talking to father Christmas, they all had the times of their lives. The staff were great and seemed to enjoy it as much as the kids did. We returned a little later on in the day for our lunch, the meal and service was exceptional, and reasonably priced. Looking forward to our next visit.
