    It was a busy night being near xmas. However, all of our food was cold. My mum had to send her cheeseburger back because it was completely black, tiny bit of cheese, no lettuce etc. Then the server came back and said they had ran out of burgers so we got a refund. The food at the Penny used to be great, then you had the refurb and now it's average. Please improve this as it is our local!

    Excellent service. Prawn cocktail starter really lovely. Turkey Christmas dinner was spot on. Ample portion and arrived hot. All the trimmings. Would be hard to find fault with this meal. Fantastic value.

    We love the Penny Farthing and are frequent users especially before the refurbishment. We were delighted to see how the pub has been refurbished it is beautiful and with the introduction of a partition wall and door to the left which means you are nolonger cold when eating due to the door often being propped open! The food was fabulous. Well done. The staff are friendly and efficient.

    Wow guys really great job Came here for lunch With the family Lots of things for the kids to do. There is a small park outside and a play area inside too. Friendly staff which always helps and the guy who was working got a high chair for us. Really nice I’d say 1/20 places do that for us. But I really appreciate it! The food was ready in about 10 mins. Probs the fastest pub service I’ve ever had. Wasn’t massive portions but deffo quality over quantity. The food was very tasty and fresh. Kids ate well so that’s another good sign of good food Really nice place and great food Would deffo come here again. Top marks guys. Keep this up !!

    Lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff. The food was fine, but pretty standard for pub food. Burger could've been a bit more juicy and needed a tad more burger sauce. The cauliflower wings were great though!

    Feel our food would have been better if we wasn't waiting for chips as we could hear waitress saying food was ready but waiting for chips So hot side salad and a really crusty roll on burger made it bit unpleasant Good size kids meal Partner said her pie was best she had ever had in a pub
