I thought i walked into a Creche. Bar staff holding a baby trying to serve. Bar staff vaping away like she is at home. Freezing cold inside. And the beer tasted bad. It was only 7pm I'm surprised I didn't see a fight.

Lovely old building , about the best in southam , beer garden is great + a play area for the kids at the back of it , there is a an offer between 4-5 clollect any 10 stamps on beers get a free beer , daily quiz about 1pm , a really welcoming pub , big public car park at the rear of the building

Had a great time here. Live DJ's. Friendly bar staff. Ordered food from local takeaway and allowed to eat it in the garden. Lovely pool with Koi Carp in. Parking was easy near by. Play area for kids.

Our band played here on a Friday night. It was one of the quietest and earliest gigs we have ever done. Luckily we had a few of our followers to eradicate the echo. That said, there were a few dancing towards the end of the night and the staff were excellent. It is a lovely pub but I don't think Friday music is hip in Southam. We would love to play there again to a full pub!

Went to see a band here. The Sirens live. Had a really great night. Friendly staff. Quirky pub. Good music. Clean toilets. Massive outdoor area too, with a bar and children's area. I'll definitely come back.

Actually a disgusting pub. I think I was spiked on Friday night. I only had three drinks in there and next minute I felt really funny. I kept falling asleep then they kicked me out. And the day after I still felt really sleepy.

The pub is a nice building lots of character, but not good for the area, from what I have been told over the past 4 years. Pubs are struggling, with this in mind, perhaps it should be converted to a museum, exhibiting what it was originally used for when King Charles 1 was around. Schools could have education trips to the area.
