   Great food and such amazing staff love my catch up with the staff and best breakfast and smoothies. Since moving back to the area this has become my go to as staff welcoming and food and drinks are so yum, a hidden gem which needs to be supported.

   Love this place. Breakfast is amazing. And the lady who cooks the breakfast agreed to cook 4x fry ups for us even though breakfast stopped 45 mins earlier. Very grateful for the customer service...seems to be dying in other establishments. Beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and great service!

   Popped in here to escape the storm blowing on the front. The staff were very welcoming and obliging. Lovely cuppa brought to our table, served with a smile. I suggest that anyone reading these reviews disregards the one star review below and give this lovely little cafe your custom.

   I have read the recent negative review and cannot disagree more. My wife and I come to The Clarence most days of the week and find it to be clean, the staff are very accommodating and pleasant; nothing appears to be too much trouble and the food is very good. The park itself is lovely and it just goes to show you cannot please all of the people all of the time.

   This place is terrible since the present company took over. The cafe was filthy, the two female staff were disinterested and their uniforms were also filthy. We only had coffee and that was enough. It was little more than weakly flavoured milk, and we were charged Costa prices for it! So, do yourself a favour, enjoy the park by all means, but if you want a decent cup of coffee without being ripped off, walk in to town and go to a proper coffee shop.

   Lovely cafe situated in a nice park. Great selection of food, cakes, hot foods, hot and cold drinks. Glad we found this little spot. Was very busy but we did visit at half term.

   Just wanted to get out of the house and they’re a five minute walk away. I had a coffee and my partner had a hot chocolate with whipped cream and both were very nice. Because it was after 3pm the owner was packing away the tables and chairs and he stopped for a chat. As they closed the owner came back and gave us a couple of sausages rolls and some cake, saying if we didn’t want them he would have to throw them out. The park is great for dogs and children with a separate fenced off playground. Also the squirrels have become tame because lots of people feed them, so much so that the cafe has been banned from selling squirrel food. Over the past couple of years we’ve had a few social meetings in the park so we weren’t breaking the Covid restrictions. I’m so lucky to have such great facilities close to my home.

   Always lovely to come to Clarence Park Cafe. The food is delicious and fresh whether you go in or order online! The staff are lovely and so quick to get orders out. They do really nice hot chocolates. I recommend the halloumi, egg and hash bap!!

   A popular park close to the seafront. Great for a gentle stroll with lots of benches, a quaint cafe and toilets. A small park suitable for smaller children. And lots of squirrel's and pigeons!
