   If you’re looking for the perfect traditional village pub, look no further. This place has everything you could want — genuine atmosphere, exceptional service, and a sense of warmth and welcome that you simply can’t fake. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with the friendly charm of Pete, the boss, whose personality fills the place with real character. In the summer, the superb garden is a standout — beautifully kept, spacious, and the perfect spot for a drink in the sunshine. And when winter rolls in, you won’t find anywhere better: the open fire creates a cosy, welcoming glow that makes you want to settle in for the evening and never leave. It’s a proper local pub — the kind that’s getting harder to find these days — and it’s run by people who truly know how to make guests feel valued. Highly recommended. Ahem, if you don’t mind the few swear words from the locals then you’ll feel okay at the weavers.

   Brilliant local pub with a proper feel-good atmosphere. Beautiful, well-kept beer garden. Everyone’s friendly, it’s dog-friendly, and the prices are great. Pete the landlord is an absolute legend – witty, clever, and always good for a laugh. Tom and Oli are so polite, attentive, and genuinely lovely. Can’t recommend it enough - utter gem of a pub!

   My wife and I went after dinner. The pub was the only one that I could find open locally. What a find! They served draught Bass, something, living in the London area, I haven't tasted in years. It was superb. The governor came down and joined the customers. What a character. He should have been a comedian. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. Top notch.

   Nice open fire, the BEST Bass for miles and miles and miles and...well you get the idea. An immensely funny (humorous) landlord. Very friendly pub (also dog friendly if you have a best friend). We are by no means local but the journey is always worth the while.
