   Visited Nelson’s Appetite Pub and had a great experience. The starters were excellent—especially the chicken and chicken chilli, both were delicious and well cooked. The staff were very polite, friendly, and attentive, which made the visit even better. Definitely a must-visit place for anyone looking for good Indian food

   This is an excellent choice if you want good authentic Indian food. We went for a family get together and everyone left so satisfied. We tried so many dishes and all were incredible. Even the meat eaters were ordering more Gobi 68 and Gobi Manchurian the cauliflower was so tasty! The staff were really attentive too - a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

   What a find! A truly enjoyable meal that I visited 3 times in 1 week with friends and family. The food is authentic Punjabi style. The quantities are superb, and the pricing is spot on. The owners clearly value your custom and ensure your visit is memorable for all the right reasons. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Very unassuming from outside. Don't let that put you off. Car parking to the rear is large enough with plenty of outdoor seating.

   Amazing Indian Food in a vintage British Pub ! I would have ideally rated it 4 but the enthusiastic owners deserve the credit. The food was amazing - chicken was really well cooked and mildly spiced . Bread offerings could be better, as naan seemed frozen. We ordered dynamite potatoes, Gunpowder Chicken and Mac & Cheese for starters followed by Paneer butter masala for mains , Chicken Biryani and Ghee Rice with Chicken curry , accompanied by chapati and naan . In drinks , we were served Mango Lassi & alcoholic drinks . Komal serving us was efficient and friendly , owners were always checking on us which was highly appreciated. Ambience can be a hit and miss for few but the unauthentic Indian restaurant decor makes it rather interesting. It's definitely worth the trip from Birmingham .

As a Google Local Guide, I always look for places that offer real flavors and a great experience — and Nelson Pub delivers on both. We tried the Chole Bhature, Honey Chilli Potato, and Mango Lassi. The Chole Bhature was freshly made, with fluffy bhature and richly spiced chole. The Honey Chilli Potato was perfectly crispy with a sweet and spicy kick, and the Mango Lassi was thick, fresh, and full of flavor — just like you’d find in India. The pub has both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great choice whether you’re visiting on a sunny day or looking for a cozy meal indoors. There’s also a dedicated parking lot, which is very convenient for a stress-free visit. Payment is easy — they accept both cash and card. Nelson Pub is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Warwick. Whether you’re a local or just visiting the area, this place brings the vibrant flavors of India right to Warwickshire. Highly recommend!

   My favourite pub!!! Very family friendly. Love going here with my partner and daughter for a couple of drinks and on Sundays we enjoy the best roast in Warwick (£10 and it’s massive). The owners are lovely and put a lot of effort into pleasing their customers. The garden is perfect for some summer drinks. Last year they had different food vans each weekend serving great food. We’re looking forward to spending lots of days in the garden here over the summer.
