    A gem of a real pub with matching old-fashioned land lady. Excellent ales in great condition in unspoilt surroundings. No food but you are welcome to bring your own. Well worth the diversion off the M40!

    A spotlessly clean two room pub. Five excellent real ales including a mild. Only food is bar snacks. Easy access from car park into pub for wheelchair access and a large disabled toilets. Long serving landlord was very friendly as were the other punters. Nice courtyard with tables for around 60 people with a couple of covered areas.

    Quirky pub in a rural location. Good selection of beers and good knowledge of what they are serving. No food and no mobile phones! £1 fine to local charities if your caught using it. Lovely open fires, great for winter evenings. Pool table if that's your thing.
