   Very impressed with CG Cars - I had a gearbox related issue with our semi-auto Citroen C4GP, which most other garages did not want to look at, and which resulted in us not being able to even start the engine. After being towed to CG Cars, Carl instantly inspired confidence that they deal with similar problems all the time. A couple of days later, with good in-between communication about what they were doing, and an estimated budget, we were back on the road. I would highly recommend CG Cars, and will be returning in the future...just hopefully not on a towtruck!!

   Excellent service provided by the CG Cars team. They were very transparent and advised me to go against the substandard parts that my warranty approved to cover. The labour is not cheap, but I would recommend it for anyone driving French cars as they have advanced diagnostic tools and won’t leave you guessing what the issue is.

   Melanie is extremely helpful and Carl is a superstar. I took my van into Ford as it had potential wet belt failure Ford then confirmed the wet belt had snapped and tried to charge me £9000. Carl was kind enough to collect my van from Ford and got my van started in 20 minutes of it being back at his premises. The wet belt had not snapped. Carl is a genuine authentic independent specialist who is highly recommended.

   Cannot recommend enough. Stumbled upon this Garage when we needed part of a Mazda replacing locally for an elderly friend - was extremely cheap so we recommended to family and friends. My partners parents have been multiple times since for any work they required on their Mercedes, have used them for work on our VW Golf since and we’ll continue to use them and recommend them for life. Kind, friendly staff who are extremely easy to chat to. Prices are unbelievably cheap! Would not go anywhere else. Thanks Carl and gang ☺️

   My local garage was not able to do mots, so they sent my car to CG Cars, my car failed its mot on a few bits and pieces, Carl sorted them out at his next available slot, the charges were extremely reasonable and the service was fast, I was kept updated and overall I'm very happy with the service.    Speaking from my experience, fantastic service and after sales service also. The mechanics are very knowledgeable, especially as my car was a citroen c3 2007 and it was very complicated semi automatic (manual and automatic combined). I was having gearbox faulty and Carl and his fabulous team sorted it out. He did some work at his own expense which was relatively surprising for myself and very much appreciated by myself. 100% recommended!!!

   Could not disagree more from all these reviews. I have had terrible experiences with CG Cars. Carl the owner displays violent and threatening behaviour. When I went back to the Garage to speak to him regarding the rubbish service I had received he charged up to my husband with a screw driver shouting abuse very loudly. I have spent close to £2000 at this place which was my hard earned money down the drain. He rips you off very badly as he uses knock off cheap parts and charges double triple what they are worth. On the invoices he writes two parts that come as one singularly to make the customers pay more than what its worth. I rang Mercedes Benz for the same parts he bought from them to use for my washers they quoted me half of what he said he had bought them for. That was a major lesson learnt if you genuinely care about your car and dont want to waste your hard earned money do not use this garage. On another one of my cars they broke the seat belt panel and cracked the bottom of the front bumper. When he was questioned regarding the damages he said it was an accident car and it was not his fault. Whether a car is an accident car or not it does not give you the right to damage someones property and then gaslight them about your own wrong doings. I asked him to order some clips for my front chrome grill. Instead he super glued it without my permission and had the audacity to charge me £20 for that. The same thing with my brake pads he used cheap knock off break pads that did not evenly touch the disks. Took it to an honest Mercedes Specialist he straightaway said the car would start juddering and in future cause more expensive problems. The communication is terrible and he speaks to customers in an intimidating way. Very unprofessional and cowboy jobs.
