   Nestling in the heart of friendly, welcoming Croydon, George Street Cash Converters is the creme de la creme of short-term loan and pawn-broking services. Akash is fearless and firm, but fair in customer interactions, whilst Jai is a rugged font of knowledge with facts and figures at his finger-tips and a ready warm, witty anecdote to lighten the stressful bargaining procedure. Jo's organisational flair and empathic communication skills are of the calibre head-hunted by West End Fashion boutiques with their exclusive clientele, and I run out of superlatives for Abdi. He should be running things. Probably the country. The younger generation of Cash Converters have a lot to live up to if they're to follow in the footsteps of these experienced members, and need time to bed in. It will be interesting to follow their progress in the years to come. Sometimes for convenience, one is tempted to close one's eyes and go West. But the real heart of pawn services in Croydon will always be George Street..

   Why can't this shop open and close normal time like normal shops. 9 - 6pm. Who closes 5:30. Do they exist just for people coming off the streets? What about the person finishing work at 5 and perhaps wants a little after work change for a beer at the pub. Jarring!

   I had a very bad experience at the Sutton Cash Converters (which I will never return to again) But this branch is absolutely amazing I was dealing with Nathan who was chatty and friendly and made me feel welcome.    Brilliant service. Jose was absolutely amazing, I bought a phone from cash converters and he managed to save and transfer all my date to my new phone when shops around the area were charging me. Came back a second time and Jose greeted with with his beautiful smile and kindness once again. He’s honestly been trained really well by the cash converts family.
