A great experience from start to completion. Clear and comprehensive communications in advance. On the day was simple, met Chris at 08:30 and left the Landy with him while we spent the day exploring the local area in the complimentary courtesy vehicle. Returned in the evening to a splendid job well done on rust proofing the chassis with fully documented photos. Very pleased with the effort Chris put in on my Defender 110. I had heard mixed reviews but read between the lines and chose Before n After over the competitors and firmly believe I did the right thing. Chris is a great guy with good communication and excellent customer service. Yes he has some quirks but so does my Defender and I would certainly not hesitate to revisit Chris in the future if I needed another vehicle treated. Also worth noting that the workshop is well placed in Warwickshire on a farm with lovely owners and lots to see and to whilst Chris works his magic. Well worth the 3,000 mile round trip to get the work done by a true professional.
I'm restoring a Mazda MX-5 that was very rusty underneath. Chris did an amazing job removing the rust and adding protection. He took the time to show me the competed work in detail, a very high quality job and I thoroughly recommend Before N After.
My husband had his freelander treated for the second time as it was previously done 20 year's ago and he wanted it retreated. I also had my car previous car wax treated about 30 year's ago and the body work was good for year's after. Originally had my car booked in in late July but had to reschedule to a date in October due to machinery breakdown. He is booked up well in advance which I take as a good sign. Chris, the owner kept me well informed and provides a mine of information about the local area, places to visit and where to stay overnight if travelling any distance. I am local so did not need this but the directions provided were very good as he is fairly out the way. I used his courtesy car for the day which was useful. The job itself seemed to be very well done and I have been provided with a photographic record of the work. Not what I would call cheap but its a very time consuming and messy job to do myself so was happy to pay. Hopefully time will tell that it is a worthwhile investment.
September 19th 2019 - a day well spent! After an equipment failure earlier this year, Chris treated my Ford Transit a couple of weeks ago in mid Sept 2019 and I can only say that I have been extremely impressed by his work and ethos. I have thought many times of the old Unix philosophy: "do one thing and do it well" but Chris does two - rustproofing and customer care/service. He really looks after you, having a discount arrangement on accommodation for those travelling more than 100 miles, and a courtesy car with a really well researched list of local attractions to keep you busy and entertained while he 'does the business' rustproofing your vehicle. After a very pleasant time doing the tourist thing from Chris' list, I ended that balmy sunny day enjoying the view with my feet up at the summit of Brinklow Castle which overlooks Chris' workshop about a mile or so away. Lovely day out. As for my van, only time will tell but I have little doubt that Chris's treatment will see out his10 year warranty. Be aware that there will be an odour of white spirit after treatment though. Two weeks on, my transit is finally free of it. Top marks Chris! Many thanks!
