   I had a deeply disappointing experience with A-Star Autos. I purchased my car from Automotive Solutions 365, and all these repairs were supposed to be covered under warranty. Despite that, over the course of a year, my car had to be taken back to the garage eight or nine times for the same recurring issues. The head gasket failed twice, and I faced constant coolant leaks. Each time, I had to wait several months for repairs, and it ended up costing me thousands of pounds. Unfortunately, I found that the mechanic, Dave, was not honest about replacing parts and often kept me waiting without proper communication. The workmanship was also poor, leading to repeated failures. In the end, I had to sell the car at a major loss. Overall, I strongly recommend others avoid this garage due to the lack of transparency, poor workmanship, and repeated issues.

   They performed a pre sale gearbox service on a car I purchased and replaced the sump without a gasket, using sealant instead. Of course it immediately started to leak so I had to take it to a reputable garage to have it rectified

   I took my Mercedes c class 2013 to the garage for a gear box fault. Mr David diagnosed it and told me it’s best to change the gear box because it is a common fault with them. I proceeded to drop my car for repair and it was fixed during the time frame he gave to me. The car has been spot on since then and I have not had any issues to complain. I will recommend A star autos to any one who is having difficulties with his/her vehicle because you can be sure to have a hitch free experience after the repairs.

   A star autos. Are simple the best. I had an issue with my car made worse by a useless remap guy in Birmingham. As soon as I placed call to A STAR AUTOS I was assured. He took he’s time to give me a good job. I was promised it will be done and in no time my car was fixed and drives like brand new. Fantastic job it says what’s on the tin.

   Easy to get your car done same day. Guy sounds truthful too. One annoying issue is that he only takes cash (though I did bank transfer as I couldn't get the location of the nearby cash machine)

   Garage left a distinct feeling that they had ripped me off. Changed parts, charged over double for parts, which were available from other reputable part suppliers. When challenged, they claimed parts suppliers was selling chinese fakes and only they could get originals. Claimed to have changed parts, but could not explain what parts were or provide breakdown of costs. Overall, a very negative and bad experience. After spending hundred's of pounds. Problem was still not resolved. Avoid, other more reputable garages around who will provide clear prices, and show which parts have been changed.
