Went into Bennetts for the 1st time yesterday at dinner time had my usual number 2, will be going back when I need it cutting again nice to go to a old time barber
Went here a few months ago and the lady managed to cut my hair three different lengths on top, couldn't blend the sides in correctly and bizarrely shaved part of my beard on one side. Dog seemed pleasant but the shop had a funky smell to it.
I have visited Bennett's Barbers on many occasions in the past and the previous owner was a gentleman (very professional). The business has recently changed ownership. I was disappointed upon my first visit since the change of ownership. I found the hairdresser was constantly making silly remarks. She was talking about some overweight children she had seen in a restaurant! It felt as though she was poking fun at them. I found this quite extreme and judgemental! I will therefore not be returning.
Usually waiting for your boyfriend to have his haircut isn't the best experience but Anna is absolutely amazing. Not only can she cut hair to perfection she can also make you feel at home! Also we ❤️ Glen too!
I have had my hair cut at Bennet's for a few decades mainly as it was a proper old fashioned barber's that offered cuts with the option of a cut throat razor, I'm pleased that although the shop has now changed ownership it still offers a proper good value men's hair cut, cut throat shave with the addition of a modern twist. More time is spent on each hair cut but that is because more care is being taken to shape each cut. The new owner has respected the history and clientele of the barber shop whilst offering her own experience of modern cuts. The opening times are now longer making it easier to pick a time for a hair cut that suits me.
Worst haircut I have ever had, barber was incompetent, she kept making massive mistakes. My hair was all different lengths afterwards. Avoid Edit post response: I've had haircuts of any price range you can imagine but never have I been able to pinch a patch of hair that has been clippered and it be of varying lengths, it must be a new technique.
