Fitted my new tires well but forgot to put the caps back on my wheels, had to cycle back to get them back. When i got back, the staff member did not fully tighten the caps. The staff member that forgot to put my caps back on did not sound very apologetic.
Brilliant service, just called into my local store and arranged an appointment to fit my existing dashcam. All done and fitted expertly within an hour. Would definitely recommend.
I’m not sure about the other branches, but please be cautious with this one. Last year, I ordered a tire from them online and had it fitted at their shop. This year, I received an advisory notice for that same tire. I had replaced both tires last year — the difference between the two was only a few weeks — but only one got the advisory. During my recent service, the report showed that the tire was actually an older model. So I’m not sure if they really fitted a new tire last time.
Went to the shop to get break discs and pads, the price at the till was almost twice as what was quoted online (always check online first)the parts aren't in stock so was advised to click and collect...confirmation said the parts would be ready at 11am....its now 5.30 pm and still not ready for collection...the mechanic was lined up to do the work this afternoon and iv had the day off as a result.....will sooner make my own discs on a lath than use halfords again, it would have been quicker and I wouldn't have missed a day's work...

I bought a Nextbase Dash cam 522GW online with Halfords. I had an issue with it wereby it wouldn't turn on correctly and was malfunctioning. I drove to this store and they took it from me and within 30mins of waiting, they had replaced the device after fault diagnostics with the Next Base. The store was easy to find, good parking, easy disabled entrance. Very spacious and extremely helpful staff who had a lot of patience. Would recommend coming to this store for bike,vehicle and outdoor essentials.
Good experience. Had pre ordered some items, joined the premium club- that’s turned out to be very useful I’ve saved double the premium 12 month fee so far and have only had it less than 3 months. Good prices good quality… highly recommend
The guys and girls at Bridgend Halfords have always been helpful. On my last trip to pick up some detailing products my car battery decided to give up outside, I was able to order a new battery and have it fitted there and then with thanks to Harry, who helped out straight away fitting the battery and ensuring all was good.
The staff are always too busy to help everytime I go there. There too short staffed. Always an awful experience going in with loads of fed up customers waiting around. Used to be a great place to go and they used to be available to help, about 8 years ago.
Bike is currently with Halfords Bridgend for repair. Usually pretty good service and this review is no reflection on the general service I get there. But contacted Halfords via phone and was unfortunately met by the most unhelpful lady ever. Name began with H. "Helga?" Even the way she answered the phone sounded so unwelcoming. Talk about offering "customer service". I'm sure she does a great job on the shop floor, but certainly not a tone for picking up calls.
