I took my car here recently for a service and MOT. I booked with this garage due to the highly rated reviews to be left disappointed. The garage did not contact me during the time my car was there. When I called to see if it was ready the guy declined to give me the cost over the phone as my car was "still on the ramps". When I arrived to collect it expecting to pay for a service and MOT, I was told that work had been carried out on my vehicle without being consulted to see if it was okay for them to do so. I was left with a significantly higher bill, which fortunately I was able to pay. Wouldn't want anyone else to get caught short like I did. Very dissatisfied with the service I recieved. No work should have been carried out without my authorisation.
Honesty is always a worry when choosing a garage, buy not here! Both the guys here are not only amazing mechanics but we're completely upfront about what my car needed or didn't need on a service. They could have easily agreed with me when I said I needed a new part, but they assured me that I didn't and actually saved me money! The world needs more garages like yours! Thanks again!

Excellent customer service and very good prices. Was quoted up to £300 at main dealership for a repair but after talking to the boys at wayside garage who inspected my car and booked it in, the job was in fact £70. Would definitely recommend

I have taken my car to this garage several times during the last year and have been nothing short of impressed at the service received. It has always been possible to have my car seen to on a day that is convenient for me and the garage have no issue with me dropping it off before work and collecting it when I finish. Employees of the garage always ensure they call me to discuss a diagnosis and a quote. I have always been thoroughly pleased with the work they have done to my vehicle and the price has always been much more reasonable than I would expect. The staff are friendly, approachable and I would not hesitate to recommend this garage to anyone in the area.
