Small shop, crammed full of tools and hardware and stuff to keep the household running. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. Much better than the big stores.
Very convenient, has a wide selection and saved me a trip to town. Not sure of they sell fork handles though

Had my number plates stolen and the gov.uk website listed Thornton diy as a registered supplier. Easy to do and ready in 10 minutes. Much, much cheaper than Halyards and on the doorstep. Highly recommended this great little shop. Lovely chap behind the counter and shop rampacked with everything you could need.
